I was offered a contract saying that I will be starting on May 15, kaso the contract never indicated what account I would be in. I asked the HR, but she just said na may surveillance mic daw at di daw nya pwede sagutin.. same thing happened during the job offer/orientation. So, I just asked her if it was an outbound-sales account. Sabi nya wala daw PS ganun. Ganun ba talaga dito? What does it mean? Baka naman palipat-lipatin ako ng account or wala pa talagang definite account.... Is there a way for me to cancel the contract, if ever something "fishy" happens?

no doubt PS is an industry leader. maraming matutunan on the floor, though the learning process is really a very trying experience. but sad to say, PS salary scheme is lagging way too far behind from other callcenters. if you wanna keep your agents, pay them well and treat them right.

underpaid. overworked. but still ranks as some of the best in the industry, thats the PS eRep!

if something's fishy after signing the contract, resign ka. but unless you havent signed anything yet, you can reject the contract. pero ganun naman talaga sa call center pre, walang nakalagay kung anong account, kasi accounts come & go sa isang call enter, & the contract is for that call center company lang at hindi doon sa account/client ng call center. many agents in call centers kung bagsak ka sa isang acct, lipat ka sa ibang acct. kaya dapat ganun ka ka-flexible. if you cant handle that, you might not right for the industry

Hehe, yung una kong napasukan at ibang contact na nakita ko (kaso decline ang *****) e may nakasulat naman na account. I just thought na the same works for other contact centers. Pero tinanong ko ngayong ang mga bago dun wala na rin daw nakasulat.. :depressed: I also do understand that this is their way of protecting employees. Tamang tama talaga yung timing ng pagkalipat ko, bughoy. Puro horror stories ang naririning ko sa dating account natin. Kung sino-sino na ngang TM from sales teams ang sinaksak nila dun eh para lang mag-imporve yung sales nila. :glee: What I really don't understand is why the freakin' client is prioritizing sales when it's primarily a tech account. I used to love this ISP (and by ISP, I mean the ISP itself and not just the team - yeah, I was THAT loyal). But now, I wish that company would burn to the ground. :bop:

ang alam ko kasi pag nakapasa ka sa initial interview automatic ibibgay yong schedule para sa final interview. remember after ng initial interview yong iba pinapaiwan for exam tapos yong iba yayain sa labas yong di pinalad. Tapos after the exam naman yong mga di pumasa yon ang unang tinatawag tapos di ko alam kung ano sinasabi sa kanila tapos naman yong mga pumasa binibigyan ng slip para sa sched ng final interview at kung sino yong taong mag-iinterview :)

No where in the contract did I see premiums mentioned. my question is does that come after I sign the contract? and how true is it that they (PS) offer different compensations for new hires? hope anyone out there can help me. thanks:)

premium talaga benefits dyan sa PS, wala ako masabi, pero like they said, depende sa call center experience mo, at pwede rin factor na kasi sa cebu ka magtatrabaho, eh mas mura talaga ang pa-sweldo sa cebu *okay*

i guess no one can really answer my question regarding additional premiums on salaries for those who already have CC exp. for those who can I would be more than happy to recieve any form of estimate or somethin'. though i agree with you dragonrower, benefits from PS are premium, particularly the coverage for health and medical expenses which i think is pretty impressive when you compare them to medical coverage enjoyed by executives in multi-national companies. i just remembered something about a clause, when you resign from the company, you can't work for any other CCs for at least a year? does this clause STILL take in effect when you quit after being regularized like for example having stayed with PS for more than a year or so OR does it only take effect when you quit before being regularized?

Honga. I agree with this post, medyo masama ang dating ng post ni candyrain. And besides undergrads, IMHO, should be given the chance also to prove their stuff. At least PS is already opening out for undergrads who want to have the experience so they could pursue this as a career.

Anyways I might be trying out either this afternoon or on Monday (I'll call them first to confirm such) at the office for the opening for E-reps per project basis.

Hi bigdaddycool..pasingit lang po. True that a college degree doesn't justify the quality of work. And I don't have problems with the undergrads being promoted but in reality we may also look beyond what's with us right now.I Call Center is not here to stay forever..And after this, we will again go back to the basic of finding a regular job and nowadays a college degree does not reciprocate a job..there are even companies who lean on applicants with master's degree especially in the managerial position.This also holds true during promotion. Call Center has the highest paying jobs in the country today and we should take advantage of it. Sa mga undergrad po, payo lang habang may financial resources,try to finish a degree. And sa mga graduates, take it to the higher level. It will be ideal though that the trend of hiring and promoting employees in the cc environment be adapted by the other industries..yung equal opportunity..no discrepancy on the what college you came from, what degree you have, age bracket, sex etc...kasi dapat naman talaga ganun..at least better opportunities for a lot of people di ba?

i guess no one can really answer my question regarding additional premiums on salaries for those who already have CC exp. for those who can I would be more than happy to recieve any form of estimate or somethin'. though i agree with you dragonrower, benefits from PS are premium, particularly the coverage for health and medical expenses which i think is pretty impressive when you compare them to medical coverage enjoyed by executives in multi-national companies. i just remembered something about a clause, when you resign from the company, you can't work for any other CCs for at least a year? does this clause STILL take in effect when you quit after being regularized like for example having stayed with PS for more than a year or so OR does it only take effect when you quit before being regularized?

hmmmm, as to what happened to me, been with PS for 2 & a half years, i joined another new company na "similar daw" to what i do, hindi naman ako sinampal ng clause na yan. though there's a lot of PS employees moving there now & HR is taking drastic steps to present this clause to them. but as far as i knoaw, these clauses are honored in other call centers, you just have to find that out for yourself because yung iba kahit na meron internal agreement, they still dont follow it kasi kung yung center na yun eh talagang kailangan na ng agents

Pagkatapos, may extension din for escalation so hindi yung mga sups namin ang sumasalo ng calls kundi yung nasa States na managers yata. May mga pop-ups na sobrang helpful and they remind you of what you're supposed to do. Medyo mabagal lang ng konti ang tools pero pwede na.

Buti pa kayo mukhang useful yung support system niyo diyan sa W***. You can easily escalate things to an authority based on my impression from your previous statement. In my account, naku, kailangan mo pang manalangin na walang topak yung supe na hihingan mo ng permission to escalate a call to authority. If the supe you asked permission to escalate turns out to be having a bad day, sorry ka na lang, kalimutan mo na ang escalation request mo.

Your software tool is running slow... hmmm... in my account, that is the main problem lately after the so-called technical upgrade done to the system. Naku - kadalasan kaming nasisigawan ng customers if we can't pull up their record immediately yet helpless kami because of the way too slow system we are using. Kakainis!

since you're a fresh grad, you will start low... pay as an HR recruitment in any call center would still be a lot higher than what you will get from other industries.. i advise that you get the experience first. PS will be a good training ground for you. believe me!
