Hi people! I have applied in PeopleSupport and now I am already going to have my final interview (FI). Well, I applied for the part-time e-rep pos'n. I just have a few questions which will decide whether I will still proceed with my FI with them:
1. Is there a bonding fee for part-time e-reps? Training fee?
2. How long is the contract?
3. In case I resign earlier than what was agreed upon in the contract, how much will I be paying the company? Is training fee included here?
a. In case I do that, if I apply again after how many years, will they be still accepting me? :-)

I hope you'd be able to help me with this. By the way, I am still a student that's why I am hesitant if I will continue working (in case I get hired) with them. I might not be able to handle my acad life and my job simultaneously.

Whistle: Training lasts anywhere from 4-6 weeks depending on the tech account. Most probably you will start with the GY shift as this is where the bulk of the volume is.

Gala: There is no definite answer regarding the bond since the contract varies by rep. I guess they factor in the length of the contract. Contracts are from 1-4 months although they can be extended if necessary. If you pre-terminate the contract, there may or may not be anything to pay, again depending on the contract you signed. You may re-apply after six months from date of resignation.

My classes are on Sundays- Off Campus. After GY Shift of SAT 9PM to AM, which is SUN morning, I go home, take a shower and then go to school. Classes start 12:00, and ends 6:30PM - 2 subjects. Then at 6PM I go straight to Makati to take calls from 9PM to 6AM Monday morning. For 32 freaking hrs I am awake, and I was able to survive these for a month. Fortunately my swap request was approved. Now, I have SAT SUN off, thanks to the bidshift!

Now to ask you how do I do it? It takes, guts, perseverance and a liter of RED BULL! hehehehe!

sorry for the interruption guys just want to share my experience..

I pass my resume in People Support, hoping to get a part time coz im still a student.
When I passed it together with my friends, we are screened and had the pre-interview. I was surprised coz im not prepared.
But it still happened and i was interviewed.

The interviewer told me that they will call me up if i am hired. Unfortunately they dont give a call..how sad...

Sayang.. nakilala ko sana yung mga handsome and beautiful call agents na nakaupo dun..

Number 1: call center jobs are not for everyone, and most call centers have a high turnover rate.

peoplesupport management is trying its best to retain all eReps. they hired "the best" out of the hundreds who applied, PS trained them and invested on them, will they just let them go na ganun lang? people resign because they want to, for whatever reasons... and we can't say its because of mgt alone... dami factors....

People Support's edge over other leading call centers would be their people....iba talaga ang environment sa kanila...when we applied there the other day, the HR peeps was so friendly...at in fairness pati yun guard..walang unsuspecting look maybe ganun lang talag yun guard sa floor nayun...

Pero ang ibang call centers ang susungit nila...sobra!!

question din. have received an email fron HR yet? coz definitely if you fail padadalhan ka nila? If you haven't heard anything from them after the timeframe they gave you, you can always call to follow up. The number is 885-8000. Experience ng referral ko hindi sya tinawagan 2 weeks after the final interview, tumawag sya then yun na. pinapunta sya agad for the job offer. good luck.

The fun thing about being in Training is that you get to hear all the inside stuff before everyone else does. Bong Borja I think mentioned this in previous company meetings, but yes, we are planning to open up a center in Ortigas. I'm not sure if we are going to move out of Philam eventually, but if we are, I'm really going to miss it. We will also say goodbye to Export bank once the PS center opens.

Zephyr. I, too, will miss Philam if and when we leave the place. The lighting was infinitely more flattering there. Walking around each of our JG floors makes us look unhealthy. Self-deprecation aside, Philam is and feels like home whenever I come by for my weekly IJAF drops :D

you know Kikkoman, i just have one interesting story to tell. I applied for PSCebu as part of the pioneering batches here and honestly after the final interview (I was loose and relaxed and i think I did well hehe), a week after, an email notified me that i failed. I was told the usual wait 6 months to reapply again thing. Then i dont know what happened but 2 months after, the same people called me up saying my contract is ready.
Well, quite honestly dont expect nalang, heads up, brighter skies ahead
