Anyone have any stories of people who quit their callcenter jobs and just got a DSL connection at home and did homebased work? Although I do offer homebased freelance employment (full work load at P25 to P400 per piece = P15000 to P35000 per month), this is restricted to people that write English well. I'd like to hear of people who don't write or even have webmaster skills (html and photoshop ) who still manage to make $300 to $1100 monthly online as instructed by sites like http://www.mycommunitymail.com/book/.
The Internet is definitely changing the nature of work in the Philippines. Instead of Pinoys having to split up their families and go overseas for employment, the work is sent straight to your PC through an Internet connection. Whether it's writing or designing web pages or simply filling out forms or even processing email for people, homebased employment is getting huge. It also helps that the payout is usually in the form of dollars.
Share your Internet-based home employment stories here and compare it to your callcenter experiences.

Have you been getting inputs from real experiences from people in the home based business? I need more to help my readers know where to go.

Arkangel, the lack of responses should answer your question.

arkangel, what kind of articles are your people writing? Is this sales in nature, marketing, advertising, the essay types amongst others? Can you be more specific so we can better understand? I work in a call center and am thinking of shifting to a home based work so i hope that you can contribute to my enlightenment.

Hi Arkangel,
I am interested in the freelance homebased employment you provide. I have DSL connection at home and am a UP College of Law graduate with very excellent written and spoken English skills. I used to write content for a BPO company in Makati and have received consistently good reviews from my previous superiors in relation to my writing and document drafting ability.

I'm planning to have this type of work/business, I'm a webdesigner. I already earned about 1000$ since 2003, so slow, but my goal is 1000$ in 15 days! But still i'd like to work in a regular office. Aside from the added income, you have "friendships" , fun with other human beings.
