simple advise:

if you're a techie type of agent. then go ahead and apply for tech. support acct. kung ayaw nyo ng stressful acct. why dont you try to apply for financial accts, email accts. etc. but still, it depends pa rin kung toxic o hindi

tech support accounts are always the most stressful, lalo na pag sasamahan mo ng maraming metrics na dapat tutukan para maregular ka *coughdellcough*

im about to begin answering calls for a travel acct. and im a little bit nervous since this is my first time, and their are a couple of systems to be memorized. i tried my best to listen during training, and i hope i can get over my "taranta" within a couple of months of taking in calls, especially christmas season is nearing, so thus the peak season of travel, by years end veteran na ako siguro.

From where I am now, accounts and clients are really easy to deal with. I mean there are clients who are really nasty but rarely that we come across these kinds.

Maybe, it helped because we are mostly email and less phone calls.

Travel account - it depends. In my previous work at a CC along Gil Puyat ave, naku, nawindang ako sa travel account. Daming irate callers, dami ring bobong clients. Tapos, super hirap ng metrics (AHT), may upsell pa, tapos kailangan mo pang tandaan eh 5 (as in 1,2,3,4,5 - sabog ang utak) na GDS.

Good luck - akala ko noon, madali ang travel. Maling akala!

hmmm... technically, everything na mareresolve ng clear cache and cookies... :rotflmao:

we are the ones who isolate the issue kung sa connectivity ba or sa sign in or sa e-mail, etc. tsaka we do "basi" troubleshooting steps

Outbound survey accounts are relatively easy. You just have to read the script in front of you. You just need to finish it and hit the quota that is required but it is relatively easy. It is available at Global Stride in Eastwood, Libis and Sparks at Hanston building in ortigas.
Washington Mutual Retail banking services is also relatively easy. I enjoy taking the calls but be minded of the requirements the client is demanding from the agents from your site. It's available at ICT Group at RCBC Plaza and People Support. I've heard there is also WAMU at ICT Group Union bank in Ortigas.
People Support will start ramping by February 2007. People Support offers packages depending on the experience as a call center agent. Maximum is 16k with 2 years experiences. Increase is P800 upon regularization. If you don't have experience, offer is as low as 13k with 2k increase upon regularization.

Based from experience, pinakamadaling account: email & chat support accounts (kasi habang nag eemail o chat, pwede ka magdala ng speakers, Ipod o discman, basta productive ka at you meet the metrics)

Pinakamadugong account, SPRINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Way out? Get promoted to Non-Ops. Hehehe.. That's what I did.

I did outbound hardselling(di pwedeng di umorder caller. GET the SSN and run a friggin credit check! Get the credit card or checking account info then charge them!), inbound hardselling (ganun pa din pero syempre di na nagugulat pa caller), and customer service (DirecTV and Dishnetwork - aaargh!).

Ang masarap lang, wala kang take home assignments pag agent ka. Wala ka na iisipin kundi kung saan ka magla-'lunch' at kung kelan ang next sweldo. Haay...
