Despedida

Hi. I would like to inquire if you are a leaving a company is it necessary to have a despedida. Your input will be most appreciated.

It is not necessary. Do not expect anyone to organize one for you, so you will not be disappointed.

However, if you are given one as a surprise, that probably means someone appreciates who you are and/or what you have done. In such a case, do your best to attend, thank everybody there, and enjoy yourself.
