took my test at chinabank kanina... i passed naman. hehe :) nakaka discourage lang the pay. it's very low compared to other companies pero ok nga yung mga benefits lalo na *** tuition fee refund etc...

hindi ba ok? kasi sakin parang ok na.. hehehe

8400 basic + 1500 cola (non taxable) = 9900 pesos and 16 month pay sila

tapos pag regular na 1000 rice allowance,

I used to work there as a trader. The basic was P8500 + P1500 ECOLA so labas mga P10,000/month which is gross amount less those taxes and SSS stuff. Walang P1000 rice benefits yung trader sa mga service staff lang yun like Tellers, New Accounts etc basta mga nasa service. The benfits are good nga, you can reimburse tuition fee as long as payag kang to stay for the company for a certain period of time. Good working environment naman in general and very friendly people and supervisors.

ahh, request ka ng mas malapit...

kasi ako tatanggapin ko lang din sila kung malapit. Nung interview ko, sabi ko check sana nila kung may branch near my place. Then parang meron yata.

Kasi pag makati ako, magre-rent ako ng place plus food expense pa. pero bawi sa offer sa akin ng ibang company, panggabi nga lang.

With chinabank, ang pabor lang sakin, malapit and pang umaga... :)

I was interviewed there two years ago, fresh off college. I was shortlisted for their management training program. I didn’t continue with my application when I found out that I’ll only get P10,000 gross a month—on a 3-year bond. Pretty low, if you ask me.

im a chinabanker, i can say that our salary is not that low IF you compare us with other banks from the same industry but if you would compare us with other companies from a different industry, well we're really far behind.

in terms of benefit, we have a lot. come january we have 7500 med allowance, may is midyear bonus (2x basic, non taxable), nov (13th month & xmas bonus, taxable) 1000 rice subsidy, every quarter we have monetary rewards for no late and no absences, every 2 years and every 3 years CBA, every year there is a salary increase (based on agreed CBA noegotiation), medicard plan 700 for rank & file (you can also enroll your dependent/s and it will be salary deductible), tuition fee reimbursement program, auto, housing, tuition fee loans for employees (normally available when you are already on your 2nd year of service)

if you want to be located near your residence, then apply for branch positions: new accts, teller, branch operations assistant (need not be a cpa board passer), investment assistant, cashier or branch operations head (both are supervisory positions)

we would be opening several branches soon, antipolo, san mateo, sm taytay, katipunan, tomas morato (that would be for our area alone, di ko sure kung anu mag open from other areas)

so ayun, pag may questions pa ***, post nyo na lang dito.

Thanks, ako_si.
But for a management training program hiree to earn P10,000? Isn't that small regardless?

mababa talaga mga local banks. Sa benefits sila bumabawi, so if habol mo yung BASIC PAY avoid the local banks most of them offer sub 5 digits to below 20K for rank and file people

okei ****, saan dept ka nag-aapply? EDP? systems n methods?
as far as i know, very busy sila dahil left and right ang pag open ng branches. if you will be assigned sa EDP, may malaking chance to travel around kasi nag eexpand din kami sa provinces.

Prior to my Citibank stint, I worked for Chinabank Paseo de Roxas (Main) as a financial analyst and thought I could only count Chinabankers who made sense.

When I went there last Christmas season, I spoke with a former officemate, who's a very loyal Chinabanker, and she told me that her salary had not changed significantly over the last ten years. Ten years ago we were only paid between PhP5,000 and PhP7,000.

Imagine that.

:)

1.Describe yourself
2.Why do you want to work here?
3.What can you contribute to the company?

1. you can describe ur attitude towards work and work pressures. *** interests you and what motivates you to work. you can also describe your personal life, how you interact with various people.

2. research mo yun goal/mission/vision ng company na pinaga-applyan mo and relate it.

3. you could say that ur drive, enthusiasm and interest on your work will help in the over all growth and advancement of the company.
