i was hired last week for convergys alabang, training starts tomorrow. bakit sa makati usually pag first two weeks yung training? hehe. curious lang ako.

That's for polishing your communication skills (CCT). It would take 2 weeks.

Masaya pag CCT, kasi madali lang naman. Bad trip pag PST na tapos yung training hours mo madaling araw at boring pa ang trainer mo.

Our CCT trainor was Gracie. You'd be lucky if you get her because she makes training really fun, so we didn't mind that she gave homework everyday, and is REALLY strict about the English Only policy. (She has incredible hearing too! You can't even whisper in Filipino!)

Her mock calls were scary, though, but we prefer getting hard questions in training than being unprepared for them on the floor. (Thanks, Gracie :) )

We're just started PST this week. Any feedback on PST trainors (DSL home networking account), anybody?

i have to agree with you on this. my english communication skills improved a lot when i trained for CVG ;)


anyway, our trainer back then was Kristine Macaraeg aka Mac :) i think she's not anymore part of CVG

Are you just starting PST? Or are you in transition? (I'm wondering what you'll be doing on the floor.)

I agree with you, that it's not fair to expect PST to be as fun as CCT. That's the job hazard of PST trainers: they're always geting compared to CCT, which is fun because it's easy. And then, the people who felt inferior during CCT because they really don't speak so well get back some of their own in PST by being overcritical of their PST trainer.

It's sooooo immature, but--well--the call center industry does attract a lot of immature people. Nice, but immature. (DISCLAIMER: I didn't say "all", nor "most", but "a lot.")

really now? hehe, she used to be my cct trainer; man those days, shes good actually and pretty too :-P. did you know that she used to be a news "anchor" for channel 9 or RPN 9 news break?, its funny because she really didnt like me when she first saw me hehehe, she said that to me when our cct ended, i didnt like her either. but every time we see each other in insular we'll just smile. shes the best i should say, but shes very strict too; especially when she hears someone talking/speaking in tagalog.

shes in my friendster though, shes currently living in los angeles with her husband and shes preggy :-) , we are happy for her.
