hanep to eh.. nagapply ako last saturday.. final interview agad.. pasado na.. hintay n lang daw ako sched ng training..

i dont find in effective (marketing strategy). you tend to attract the wrong market and has a different objective for applying in the company. its not for the mere reason of finding or landing a job, but because of.. (see below)*okay*

13k ang starting for inbound csr's.. yung ad na 15k was for outbound daw.. and you dont get to sign anything (job offer or job contract) until you get to pass the training..

My officemate applied in this call center. He was offered 14K basic for the TEAM LEADER position!!! What more if you're applying as agent. SHEESH!

:eek: Is this true?All I know is super tagal nila magbigay ng feedback after mo mag apply bcoz isa lang un HR nila,me mga associates pero di nya dun pinapagawa yun mga interviews.Nafeature pa nga to sa studio 23 this week lang.But if they're offering 14 for TLs i dont think the're making a good deal.I hope it's not true.:hmm:

trainee ako dun ngayon.. yung 15k na yun, 12k taxable, 2k bonuses, and 1k for perfect attendance..tapos yung 12k na signing bonus, 2k every month for 6months.. okay na rin siya kasi P500 ang daily training allowance..

pamatay nga lang ang training, kasi focus on objections ang exam namin mamaya.. XD

after that interview, kung makapasa ka, kelan mo malalaman kung kelan training mo? usually when start training (since your interview)? at mga gano katagal training?

pero, just to answer your queries:

- yes, they do accept undergrads.. i'm an undergrad myself..

- i applied during the job fair, so there might be some changes when you apply directly in HQ.. there are two interviews.. the first one's easy, you just answer their questions, like what was the last movie you watched, or why you chose your course.. the final interview's where it gets tricky.. they test how fast you learn, or they test your selling skills.. you're lucky if Ian or Marcus gets to interview you..

pero, as i said, wag na kayong mag-apply dito..

ive been training in this call center for a week now and all i can say is its strict here, di mo maintindihan ang systema, training mo 1 week lang tapos lalagay na kayo sa floor with live calls every friday pa may tangalan at hindi basta basta ma regularize dito. sa tingin ko ang hinahanap nila yung mga magagaling at may mga call center experience.

for a person like me with no call center experience, ok naman toh na call center...

That's how most jobs should be: If you suck, your contract doesn't renew and they kick you out. IF you are good, you get to stay and earn more money.

That's what it should be: You get retained ONLY IF you add value to your company.

i just finished applying to this company and let me just say that the american who did my final interview was really demeaning. grabe, i know backstabbing isn't good pero grabe ang kanyang pilosopiya sa pag-iinterview. walang friendliness or sense of welcoming or anything. and imagine saying to me that i'll only land in poverty just because i am taking philosophy as a course. i am applying kasi for the part-time position lang (outbound lang). now i know what my other acquaintance is talking about when she relayed to me her experience when she applied to this company before. she also talked about a male american who is so *****y and wouldn't even care to thank you for coming to the place and applying. during the interview, ito lang ang tinanong sa akin, "HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT PUPPIES"

Pero I am not disgracing the company ha. I just hate those kind of people na feeling perpekto at superior, mukha namang multo. Charot lang.

Okay naman yung company eh. The standards take a little getting used to, kasi they're a little different compared to most call centers. Pero once you understand it, okay naman yung terms nila eh. The company isn't that bad compared to other companies, and the money naman is good.

nako, bago lang ako sa ascend. as far as i heard bago lang din yung company. my veteran call center friends told me maganda na daw yung offer sakin for the Outbound agent compared to other companies. Sa ibang companies daw di pa kasama yung training sa probationary period, pero sa ascend, what they told me during my final interview kasama na daw yun sa 90 days na bibilangin to get regularized. ayus yun, kasi mas konti na lang iisipin kong araw para maregularize. hehehe. *okay*

I have tried applying at Ascend Asia. And here's what I have observed, Jologs ang mga personnel, Its true bulok ang office. I wont care about the sorroundings but nonetheless the staff are also bulok especially the expat named Marcus who conducts the final interview " certified asswhole.

u know what, last month lang na-regularize yung kasabayan ko.. and to think sabi pa nila dati, be regularized in just 90 days? wtf?!

well share ko experience ko dito sa job fair kami nagaaply ng fren ko daming tinanong sakin pero nakapasa ako kawawa *** fren ko nabastos daming tanong out of this world kung anong kabtusan!


training ko na agad a week noon grabe nagenjoy lang ako sa batch ko pero sa sa mga q a at supervisor dun inay ko po! mahigpit sila kung sa mahigpit! pero may okay na tarinor! tsaka namamata *** iba nako! kala mo kung sino grabe tinanong ba kami ng fren ko *** skul did u came from? who hire you? dun ba nasusukat *** performance ng tao? oh well pamumulitika din dito grabe ang inet pa sa floor! un lang 2nd day nako pro live calls na kami at wala kaming alam2 lalo na kami newbies! sobramng nashock kami ganun pala training oh well! wala pasaway kami sa flr kaya yun tinanggal *** pro ok lang kasi di kami ngeenjoy ie offer nila 12k then 15k tpos 17k dependi san knila ilalagay! pro bwal papetiks2 un *** at mostly pro stress mga taong nakita kong angent ** wahahahah!

If I were you I wouldn't mind the expat much. Ganun talaga yun, medyo eccentric at straight to the point. Siya yung tipong tao na walang paki alam sa basic niceties kasi feeling niya mas magaling siya sa ibang tao. :angry:

Sabi ng barkada kong taga Ascend, kung feeling mo di maganda ang pagkatrato sa yo sa interview, pwede ka raw mag-file ng complaint sa recruitment personnel nila and they'll forward it to the right people. Hindi daw bossing yung mga expat sa Ascend, kaya di dapat tayo matakot. MABUHAY ANG PINOY!!! *okay*
