its not the worst naman but mejo unprofessional lang....
it goes like this...
i was called last week by this call center sabi interview ko daw 5pm (kc nag apply me sa jobstreet for a trainer post... ) june 25, at pumunta daw me sa site nila sa isang mall sa fort bonifacio (i know alam nyo toh... i will not name drop hehe) so kahapon nagpunta ako i got there then i asked for the person na who i will be looking for... the front desk person asked me to log in sa log book ng applicants... then she gave me an application form, asked me to fill it up and submit it to the application chuva sa loob(2nd door sa malapit sa pantry...) after following the application steps... i sat down sa waiting area and waited... waited... waited for more than three hrs...
there was a point i approached the receptionist to make sure na ganun ba talaga na mag aantay ka for your name to be called?? sabi nya "oo"
haayyyy lahat ng mga tao dun tinawag na.... ako tinubuan na ng ugat sa kinauupuan ko..... when my name was called... i was so relieved...
the interview went ok naman.
kung di lang sa....
-si "mr. interviewer" ko dumating mga 6pm... (sha pala yung nakita kong nag walk in... )
sana man lang they keep to their word na pag sinabing 5PM ang interview mo, ay ganong time mo din expect ang said interview... ahsus...so unprofessional.... yung isang kasabay ko na for the same post ay ininterview ni "mr. interviewer" mga 15 mins before he interviewed me.....
at nalaman ko na yung girl na ininterview ni "mr. interviewer" ay ang call time ay 4PM... the poor girl had to wait for more than 4HOURS to get interviewed....
my two cents.... for that call centers' recruitment site....please be professional naman sa mga potential employees nyo lalu na sa mga tenured na sa industry tulad ko... hindi lang ako ang mag aapply na NON CSR.... it just shows how well or how bad you treat your employees....

^ May point ka... Be on time.
However, maybe its not the fault of interviewer....
Kahit saan namang work, ganuun.. buti nga one hour kalang naghintay... sa iba , not only in a callcenter ha... mga 3-4 hours.
Remember since you are applying for a job... Patience is a virtue !

Anong medyo? very unprofessional yun.
If part of their process is to let you wait for 3 or 4 hours, then they should have informed you about it.
tsk tsk tsk...
Pero syempre para mas maganda, I'd be writing to their directors cc HR about what happened.
Power trip sila, then give it to them.
hehe i know this company nga and i know some people in the higher ups as in close.. from directors to marketing managers (not local ha but abroad). :)

iamtwisted...I experienced the same thing with "that" cc. Applied before as a Recruitment specialist, interview was at 4pm...waited until 6pm until finally i gave up.
when i got home, they were calling me pala sa cellphone ko...I answered them and asked me where I am...I told them that I went home already because I was informed that the interview was 4pm, and I believe I waited long enough...The guy who called apologized and said na re-sched nalang daw yung interview ko...I declined bec IMO, it already reflected what kind of company they are...
That's why now whenever I interview applicants I always make sure that I am always on time bec I know how it feels to wait...

pangalanan na kasi to warn prospective applicants.. :)
yung ibang cc's parang they do it on purpose na para bang you're in need of a job, maghintay ka. Sa dami na ngayon ng call centers sa pinas, tenured cc peeps need not put up with that!

^i had the same experience of waiting for hours, pero different call center naman. to be fair to them, i was an hour and a half late din. maybe that's the reason why they made me wait that long. anyway, i lost patience after 4 hours, so i just went home.:bop:

I would want to work in a call center who would treat me right. First impressions last. If that's the way the company would treat applicants, how do you think do they treat their existing employees? Every minute that passes, you can never get back. It's already time wasted.

same experience sa isang call center sa may novaliches (more than 2 yrs ago na 'to pero very unforgettable), bago pa lang yung branch/office nila dito at mega recruit pa, bigay ng flyers sa ground floor, etc...
going through the initial process was a breeze, pinabalik balik ako for the results at yung mga susunod na stage pero nung pinabalik na ko for my final interview, ayun na, it was scheduled at 1PM. galing pa ako sa work, kasi i was already training in another call center that time kaya lang i wanted to finish what i started with this call center at saka mas malapit sya sa amin kaya kahit walang tulog pumunta pa din ako ng 1PM, nagmamadali pa ako at lahat, pero pagdating ko dun ng 12:45pm pinaupo ako at sinabihan wait for my name to be called daw. dumating na yung mga iba kong nakasama during recruitment (dahil hindi sya yung type na one day lang alam mo na kung in ka o hindi), tinawag na yung ibang naka scheduled for 1:30, for 2PM pero ako di pa din, nag follow up na nga ako kasi sobrang inaantok na ko sa tagal kong nag hintay, sabi wait lang at nanjan na yung nag iinterview. mga around 5PM, at last, tinawag ako and parang galit pa yung HR dahil ang unang question or comment nya before the interview was, "you thought we had forgotten you, is that why you stood up awhile ago and ask the recruiters if your name was on the list? we were testing your patience..."
wtf???!!! siguro naman na test na nila ng husto yung patience ko nun kahit nung 2 hours pa lang ako pinag hintay, i think pulang pula na face ko (and my eyes sa puyat) sa inis tapos sasabihan ka pa ng ganun. kaya kahit pinabalik ako (for another final interview??!!) to talk to some canadian the next day, hindi na ko bumalik, baka paghintayin na naman ako, 10 hours this time. decided to stay sa call center na pinag ttrainingan ko.
sana naman kung magsasabi ng oras, siguraduhin naman na gagawin o sige, give or take 30 minutes pero wag naman hours paghintayin ang tao.
im sure that teletech has since improved their recruitment process

Here’s my experience. I was applying for an email/chat support position. I told the recruiter that I would not take other position other that email/chat support. I went on to take the exams and I passed. During my final interview, the lady told me that the position of email/chat support was already filled days ago and the only position they can offer me is a voice support position. I already told the person who conducted my initial interview that I will not take any position other than email/chat support, why did you ask me to take series of exams and wait the whole day and tell me that the position I was applying for is already filled up days ago? The lady just told me she will just put my resume in their active file so if they will have a need for the position I wanted they will call me. That’s just poor recruitment.

Sa now-defunct Technion, whole day akong naghintay para ma-sked for an exam. Bumalik pa ako the following day for the interview. Nung prinesent na yung package sa job offer, sobrang let down.. I had to beg off, it wasn't worth the trouble.

dapat siguro merong way para maka pag feedback sa mga callcenters na ganito...katulad ng na mention ko na mga mababaho ang mga nasa higher management....basta ang alam ko meron sila ofc sa former urban bank plaza.....these people are wasting our time with their crappy recruitment system.....dapat siguro magkaroon ng quality check ang CCAP sa lahat ng call centers para maayos ang ganitong problema....

bakit may mga call center na pagkatapos ka tawagan sa phone, papuntahin sa office nila for exams, interviews etc eh tatawagan ka uli after a week asking me to apply. ano nangyari dun sa file ko, sa sobrang dami ng applicants di nila update ang database nila? i asked her whats the status of my application kasi sabi ko nag exam na ko sa inyo last week bat tinatawagan nyo uli ako para mag apply :D
ok lang sabihin on that day na di ako pumasa..mas ok pa kesa parang bagong recruit uli ako na tinatawagan pumunta ako the next day for exam etc. parang deja vu ako nun, last week tinawagan nila ako ganun din ang script.

shonen: Nangyayari ata talaga yan. Ako, 3 months na ako dun sa dati kong work, tinawagan pa nila ako for phone interview.

Ako musta naman experience ko...
I came to this call center company in Commonwealth at 9:30 a.m. I signed the application form and waited. Then the lady called my name and said that my initial interview will be at 1:30 p.m. Imagine? 4 hours of waiting...
In fairness, I have a freedom to roam around the place but I preferred to stay since the waiting room is quite comfy already so I just stayed there..
After 1 hour...2 hours...3 hours..
1:30 pm (not yet called)
for 2 1/2 hours (2:00 pm) I was called already at last...
The initial interview went for about 30 minutes and it's mentally draning. The questions were so out of sync. To make the long story short, I didn't pass the initial interview unfortunately.
Just wasted my time 9:30 am to 3:30 pm into nothing...
But to be honest with all of you, I enjoyed the experience and the employees there are so warm and kind...
The interviewer were so kind and cute ( I tell you)....
AT least I have fun...
I'm bit sad but still in high spirits...
As what some saying says "Every challenge you overcome, blessing comes after!"
And it came true in an instant.... The other BPO I had applied called me just a while ago and scheduled me for a final interview. It was so unexpected. Thankz to God! I hope this is it....

BING-BONG~ you're wrong. nothing has changed. kups **** yung nagsabi *** nun. i wonder kung nandyan pa sya sa teletech. their hiring process is still the same. i applied there two years ago and i waited for a month before they finally hired me. yung mga former teammates ko na less than 6 months, ganun din. yung tita kong nag-apply naman dyan, 3 months bago tinawagan. malamang nakahanap na sya ng mas magandang trabaho, dba? hehe~
masaklap pa nga dun nung Job Offer e. we were there around 5pm (March16) for the J.O. and it lasted up until 9PM. Then, pinabalik kami ng 3AM the following day for the Pre-Hire Orientation. THEN, after 9 hours, ni-require pa kami magpa-medical exam, have our company ID prepared, TIN, SSS, and other pre-hire requirements ALL IN THE SAME DAY! 5PM (March17) na nasa Teletech pa rin ako kasi hinihintay ko yung result ng medical exam. without that daw kasi, mavo-void yung pre-hire namin. LOL!

YEP! ganyan sa 24/7 ... as what i observed, medyo matagal din yung process but they inform the applicants about the time length and they even ask if it's okay for them to wait or just have the interview re-scehduled. o dba? hehehe~ sana lahat ng centers ganun. afterall, first impressions last.

Walkin ako ng 10am for interview and exam. Ok na, pinabalik ako ng 10pm on the same day for another interview, syempre umuwe muna ko. 10pm andun ako office nila, ininterview ako ng 11:30 pm, ok na ulet, pumasa. Then wait for the final interview, mga mag 2am na ata ko final interview, ang lupet, come to think of it, 3 lang kmeng appilcants, sobrang pulpol ng mga hr dito, unfortunately, I failed the final interview.

sa sitel grabe i started at 9am sa recruitment nila sa ortigas tapos i took the first few steps namely:
some basic registration
online registration(which takes a while)
initial interview(our group had to wait 40mins for the interviewer)
mock calls(you have to wait as well)
online testing
and behavioral interview
i finished it all around 7-ish then i was endorsed to eastwood at 10pm for the final interview..when i got there i got word from the guard that the manager will arive at 12 mn so i waited (of course i needed the job) i got home about 1am...the next day i had to go back for the results...it really was a WHOLE DAY PROCESS!! then when i got the results ANG BABA NG OFFER!! and the TRAINING and TRAINER that WE HAD was THE WORST EVER!!:grrr::grrr: thats why i did not stay for long..but that should be on another thread hehe *peace*

tindi rin ng experience ko sa kanila..
talagang one whole day process sila..
i completed the online reg and initial interview ng day 1..
tapos pinabalik ako ng 1400HRS the next day..
sabi nung nakausap ko, for final interview na ako dapat..
pagbalik ko ng day 2, i had to undergo 2-3 sets of exams/tests pa..
then, nung isasalang na talaga ako for final interview, nagkaroon sila ng "emergency meeting" na 10 minutes lang daw..
nagstart sila ng 1830HRS, at natapos ng 2215HRS..
hindi pa rin ako nainterview, nagutom daw sila sa meeting and they were getting a quick dinner daw..
darn.. wasted too much time..

so whoever is planning to apply, apply at your own risk. you'll know when you're there na. nasa huli ang pagsisisi, remember that.
at eto pa... nung nag-open ang callworkz, kung ano-anong benefits ang pinangako ng kanilang ceo para lang makahatak ng mga taong mag-aapply sa kanila. kaya nga maraming naloko na tgk agents at lumipat sa kanila eh. only to be disappointed in the end. eto ang press release ng callworkz ceo na si brian silverman.
“Qualified agents at Callworkz can expect attractive compensation/incentive packages, including highly competitive salaries, bi-annual performance bonuses, and aggressive stock option ownership program for all employees sharing in the profitability of the company,” he said.
AT ETO NAMAN ANG NAKALAGAY SA CONTRACT ....
rcsr (remote customer service representative) shall not be entitled under a claim of employment or otherwise, to any compensation, wage, benefit or pay such as overtime pay, night differential, 13th month pay, bonuses, HMO, holiday pay, service incentive leave pay, separation pay or retirement pay.
"the rcsr (remote customer service representative) shall be obliged to pay out of such services fees his SSS, Philhealth, Pag-Ibig and other government dues in accordance with his status as an independent rcsr. proof of compliance and payment of such dues shall be submitted to callworkz on a regular basis. failure to comply with this provision shall be ground for termination of the contract."
yung last paragraph, di naman sila humihingi ng proof when i was there, pero since it's in the contract, pwede nila gamitin against the agent yan kung di nila type yung agent or kung siguro may gusto lang sila patalsikin para ipalit ang kamag-anak nila or kaibigan dun sa position na yun.

Grabe totoo yan. I used to date some Recruitment guy from a call center here in Ortigas. Minsan nga pag tinatawagan nya ako during his shift i tell him to go back na to his applicants kasi baka nag hihintay.

Pinoy ang nagpapalakad ng Callworkz, ang Chief Operating Officer nila is Junie Pama, who is the Managing Director of Five9 Philippines, Operations Director nila is Jomod Ferrer at ang mayabang at sobrang inexperienced as an Operations Manager na si Paulette May "Pinky" Libertad.

LOL!
grabe panget pala experience niyo sa teletech nova.. saken when i applied in teletech cainta last 2006 it was just a one day processing, napaka-convenient and friendly pa ng recruiters..:)

Sa now-defunct Technion, whole day akong naghintay para ma-sked for an exam. Bumalik pa ako the following day for the interview. Nung prinesent na yung package sa job offer, sobrang let down.. I had to beg off, it wasn't worth the trouble.
had experienced that with etel at shaw..im already on my 20k salary but they offer me an entry level salary after the rigorous processing the whole day:grrr:

I think I have the worst application-process experience. I was given a ring by this technical support call center company in Eastwood to be a language trainer. I was asked to be there 15 minutes before my interview. During that time, I was working as a Level 1 Accent Coach somewhere in Makati but the pay didn´t give me any complacency at all so I decided to apply at this techie-call center company to be ¨their¨ language trainer. The company excels in technical support ...sabi nila.... I had the same procedure,....nainterview ako, I took the grammar/language/cognitive test and I think, I passed it kasi I wouldn´t get a final interview (daw) with the training manager if I didn´t..ang nakakabwisit lang....... they had been calling me siguro mga 5 beses prior to my application.. and they would even speak English to my dad na halos dumugo na ang ilong sa kakasagot ng English dahil *** H.R nila e MUKHANG di ata marunong mag -TA-galogue¨ . anyway, when I finally made up my mind na mag-apply na nga....heto ang nakakasulasok na karanasan ko sa training manager nila...pinaghintay ako ng halos 3 oras...I came at 1PM but I was told by the stupid receptionist na e sir..di pa po dumadating si ------ if you want you can go out and come back here at 3PM...e syempre dahil I didn´t want to be a level 1 accent coach anymore and I was indeed determined to be the head language trainer..I went back....heto ang pinakanakakabwisit! ..When I went back at 3.. I was told ..the training manager hasn´t arrived yet! P#$!@#!@#!
You know what I did,..I went home.. I think the receptionist was calling me or I guess the HR staff..pero nirirject ko at ang nakakatawa pa i diverted my phone! hahaahha e ga-guhan kasi sila. Now,mas masaya ako sa pag-aaral ng MA in Europrean Languages hahahahah :)
