Is it advisable for recent graduates (say, September or October 2007) to send out resumes at this time of the year (mid-November)? Or should it be better for these people (us) to wait for January, or maybe even a certain month or period, when corporations start to become active in their recruitment efforts again? Please advise :) Is there really a "peak-season" for graduates to apply, or is there no such thing?

sa akin, basta pagraduate na ako isusubmit ko ng maaga resume ko di ko naiisip yang peak peak na yan dahil para sa akin laging peak season dahil maraming tao ang naghahanap ng trabaho ngayon at kakaunti lang ang slots.

kung ako sa iyo gumawa ka na ngayon at isubmit mo na and don't think of taking a vacation unless hindi mo priority magkaron agad ng work or isa kang ACE sa career na papasukan mo.

dati nagsusubmit na ako as early as Nov pero graduation ko sa March, pinresent ko doon na gagraduate ako ng March. By the time dumating ang march marami na ang tumatawag sa akin.

totoo ba na pag december stop ang hiring sa mga companies? gusto ko sana by february mag-resign na ako sa trabaho ko ngayon, kaya nagpapadala na ako ng resume kung saan saan...

no such thing as kung december stop hiring. kung kailan gusto ng company mag stop hiring eh mag sa stop hiring sya maski January, Feb, Mar etc.. etc...

There's no such thing as hiring peak season. Every company is different...Hiring is as needed. Jobs don't magically appear or disappear just because it's December or January...

Besides if you are a recent graduate you should be more aggressive in sending out your CV's because you're up against people with experience so why should companies hire you when they can hire people with experience?

I agree. you should send out resumes as early as possible. So by the time you graduate, you'll get to have several calls from the companies you've applied then it's time for you to choose.
