who has seen this? it's number 1 sa box-office although Tanging Yaman is SRO...

i wanna watch it but it stars the Streetboys...is it scary ba? share naman...

I think Spirit Warriors is Number 1 in the Box Office because it's the only film that the kids can appreciate, and they're on christmas vacation right now. But hey, please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

i watched it a few days ago and it was actually pretty good.. i mean, really good. dunno kung yun nga or i wasn't expecting anything lang when i went in. the graphics are cool, they aren't cheaply made and talagang nakakatakot sya. nakakatakot at nakakatawa dahil kay vhong. the acting wasn't spectacular pero galing pa rin dahil talagang may chemistry yung actors, being friends and all na. galing talaga, kakabilib.

saw it last night! very fine film, considering the level of technology this godforsaken movie industry of ours has. or maybe because it was chito roño.

i recommend it! the effects are great, the humor is good, it's not a perfect film but it's fun to watch anyway! :) definitely an improvement from our usual local horror flicks.

Bakit ganun? Tuwing filmfest lang pinapaganda ang mga Filipino movies? Wow. sana mapanood ko na ito. Nakakaintriga yung mga graphics. Yup, mukha ngang di cheaply made.

The technical aspect is quite impressive. However, I find the plot not convincing; it has some lapses. For example, the legends woven by the story were not well established.

Yeah, amen to that. But it is fun to watch anyway. I do appreciate Vhong Navarro's comic relief. I like iyung mga winged na kulay white. Mahilig kasi ako sa animation and this might be the start of good animation in RP movies.

i watched spirit warriors and markova on the last day of the filmfest. the glorietta lobby and cinemas looked deserted, a far cry from the fiesta atmosphere and overflow crowd before the bombings. kawawa naman ang movie industry!

but watching spirit warriors is enough reason to cheer up! the visual effects, oh my, the visual effects were stunning! it looked hollywoodish! may not be too original but impressive just the same! forget about the plot and that some spirits looked more human than spirits. the director's creativity is enough reason to watch it, with or without the bomb scare.

how are the streetboys? vhong navarro was the comic relief. very funny man, talaga! spencer reyes. it was a pleasant surprise to see him. i didn't expect him to be there, talaga! jhong hilario. competent actor. danilo barrios. more workshops needed especially if he'll really co-star with vilma santos in dekada '70. d rest came in flat.

i found it pretty good. although medyo nag-alinlangan ako nung una considering na streetboys yung andon. but compared to other filipino suspense movies maganda talaga siya. and hindi "bakya" lumabas like most people expected.
