"Come the millennium, month twelve,
In the home of the greatest power,
The village idiot will come forth
To be acclaimed the leader."
Your interpretations are most welcome.

I'm not worthy! :) But then again, is he????
One other interpretation is:
Millennium, month twelve = December 2000 (although this is technically wrong)
The home of the greatest power = Washington DC
The village idiot = George W Bush (arguable)
Puwede rin, diba?

Quite true, gumacanian. Maybe in this verse he is referring to another millennium (1901, maybe?)

How about this?
Millennium, month twelve - December 2001
The home of the greatest power - the seat of government
The village idiot - Jose Velarde
To be acclaimed the leader - acquitted!
Good heavens!
