warning: crimes against CC agents

a friend who is a cc agent told me this: she was going home from work, riding a jeep at 7am in the morning. a guy spat on her hair. it was extremely gross. two men, one sitting on each side of hers helped her remove the spit on her hair. she was of course very angry and grossed out. the men left. after they left, she found out her brand new cellphone which was inside her handbag was gone.

looks like its one of their MO. be warned.

of course this can happen to anyone, not just CC agents, but because it happened at 7am in the morning that seem to point that CC agents are the specific targets of this kind of MO. it also makes sense that CC agents are targetted - they are young, many are women and they surely have nice cellphones. also at that time of the day, you can be sleepy and may not pay too much attention to things around you.

thought id open this thread for others to relate stories here so that others reading them may be warned and can take pracautions. be careful everyone.

I've seen these guys in action. Although during the process I didn't know the MO pala nila yun. Yung guy kept on spitting outside the window tapos kunwari accident na nalagyan yung hair. The victim was a dude wearing a tight muscle shirt and tight skinny pants so ganon talaga ka distracted. Imagine mo makuha ang cellphone out of the pockets of a skinny pants.

Tapos na realize nya na wala na yung cellphone nya. The 3 dudes kept on saying na kinuha nung babae yung cellphone nya yung bumaba na. Habulin daw nya. Hindi sha maniwala. Nung nagkakaron na ng confrontation bumaba nako baka magkasaksakan pa.

This happened along Buendia. Guadalupe-Buendia na jeep.

it was same incident happened to my friend when she was working as cc. that time chewing gum naman sa hair nya while riding on the bus, eto pa, tinulungan pa daw sya alisin yung gum sa hair tapos di nya alam nadukot na pala phone nya.

The most common crime against call center agents is committed by call center agents themselves against their female colleagues...acts of lasciviousness.

holdap, pinaka-karaniwang krimen laban sa mga ahente. as for me, dahil sa dis-oras ng gabi ang pasok ko, tanggal lahat ng magarang gamit sa katawan, yung cellphone ko, chipipay na nokia lang (nokia 1100) and i don't bring jewelries, i don't carry more than P500 in my wallet. machambahan man ng holdap, less yung damage. at least meron pa rin makuha yung holdaper, mahirap kasi kapag walang mapala yung kriminal baka todasin ka pa dahil sa sobrang bad trip. ganyan kasi nangyari dun sa isang employee ng cvg alabang, walang napala yung holdaper sa biktima kaya pinalo ng bato sa ulo. the victim had to spend a lot of her time in the hospital. may this tip prove useful to all of you.
