Hi guys and gals, job hunting me *****. does anybody here knows about integrated microelectronics incorporated (IMI) sa laguna? mgtatanong *** po sana kng ok ba ang company at cyempre kng ok ** ba ang salary nila. by the way, im an ece and just passed the board exam last november.

Hello rin. ECE rin ako, i recently passed the board exam. I'm kinda confused what career i'm going to start. Sa mga veterans jan, give us naman some advice. I'm planning an IT/Telecoms career path.

Does anybody here knows what does a planner/buyer do? sa IMI-Laguna ko kasi yan nkita. I'm not sure kasi kng ok ba ang position na yan o medyo mababa ba. Please advise us namn. Thanks. :)

hmm, in some companies, magkaiba ang buyer at planner. Planner kasi in semicon is more on supply chain management and production scheduling. Sounds simple but in semicon products na complicated ang manufacturing processes (unlike sabon at biskwit) ay very challenging yan, but it has no relation to ECE. More of an IE job yan pero lahat naman ng course basta magaling sa statistics and math eh pwede naman jan.
