Hi everyone, is there anybody here who has an idea on how much is the starting salary in semicon companies in Laguna? I'm a fresh grad ECE and just passed the board exam last November. Need your inputs on this...

Here are a few

Laguna Technopark (Sta. Rosa)
TDK - 11k
Hitachi - 12k + Trip to Japan (lock for 2 years)
IMI - 10k
SunPower - 12k
Amkor - 15k

Science Park 1 (Cabuyao)
Philips - 15k
ISI - 12k

Science Park 2 (calamba)
Philips - 16k
OSE - 15k

Semicon companies are directly affected by the strong peso appreciation exporter kasi sila. Kaya minsan 6 days work lang or force leave.

If you are ECE why don't you try Communications Industry or IT. Mas mataas pa sweldo.

Thanks guys for the inputs. By the way, yung range na binigay nyo is for engineers na yan? Pano yung planner / buyer, the same din ba ang rate?
