Why others prefer to rent a house/condo/apartment even if they can afford to buy one

Hi guys, saw a thread of homes for rent... Hmm... may mabigat din bang advantages ang pagrerent? again, this on the assumption na u can afford to buy a place on your own, but u still opt to rent? why?

Saka depende sa renta, sa ibang condo kasi yung association fee eh halos kasing laki ng monthly rent ng isang apartment
