Have you noticed the withholding tax in your pay slip has increased???

Nagulat ako kasi tumaas ang withholding tax ko! I asked the accountant and sabi nya " the tax rate has increased". I cheked the BIR website but its down (siguro now gumagana). Moving forward, can anyone post the latest tax rate and I KNOW maraming tao ang nagugulat sa Withholding tax (coz sometimes hindi siya pinapansin)/

My Basic Salary is 10000 (5000 per cut off) My withholding tax last october is 548.34. my withholding tax for november and december is 603.32 per cut off. I was asking the accountant for a copy of the new rates (pero until now wala pa). So is it true that there are already new tax rates???

but at year end, nag-a-annualize ng computation, so if kulang ang binabawas sa iyo dati, it's possible that merong hahabulin para at year-end, tax due = tax withheld.

ahhhhhhhhhh, hmmmmmm.... she never said to me na may hahabulin tax sa akin. Heto pa, i did ask my officemates apparently, some of them have also seen an increased BUT some of them have still the same tax. I was wondering maybe iba kasi ang salary nila or time na na hire sila but we have all the same salary and we started at the same time. Hay, thanks council, i'll asked again the accountant coz i think that binabwasan kami para mabayaran ang kulang na tax ng ibang tao. once again thanks a lot council.

Variations in your tax deductions may be caused by
1. Absences
2. Overtime

Those two will surely affect your annual income.

At wag kang umangal, kung alam mo lang ang tax ko kada sahod, mapapangiti ka pa dyan :(

If you have 2 employer on the same year talagang hahabulin nila until the end of December. Check mo nalang pag January na.
