how prevalent are sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior in the cc work place?

there are a lot fo anecdotes going around, wonder how true are they. and what can cc agents do to prevent being victimized?

In my opinion:

The most common crime against call center agents is committed by call center agents themselves against their female colleagues...acts of lasciviousness.

Lemme guess, they first try to probe you if you are also a gay. Like introducing you to gay fan sites in the internet or gay publications or teasing you to be a gay yourself.

They sometimes give you the look as if they want to "eat" you in the way they smile and the looks in their eyes.

Do they touch your calf? Or massage your calf...another common harassing technique to know if you are one of them.

I've had my own share of what happened to you.

depende sa itsura nung gay dba may mga taong pag tiningnan mo pa lang ayaw mo sa kanya ano man ang kasarian unless na friendly ka talga

kadalasan sa call center nangyayari ito yung friend ko din bastat ayaw nya nung itsura nung gay e yun ang mga nangaasar sa kanya...

When the gay has identified you as also a gay...you can then be "invited" for a "relationship". That is the purpose of probing your sexual orientation.

They can be around 50 percent of the male employees in an account...with the exception of tech support.

Some are "KGB"...Kung Gabi Bakla - closet gay. They never want to be teased as gays and they certainly have a right not to be teased as such...out of respect for human dignity.

In TSR accounts is a common sight to see beautiful women being harassed or "binabakuran"...trainees pa lang.

idol na kita pinoynetwit, kahit saang thread na lang nakikita kita.. at hindi basura ang mga post mo.. ako me kwento, dun sa dating cc ko sinapak ko yung isang bading hawakan ba naman **** ko.. pahiya siya e buti na lang walang nagsumbong sa hr.. siguro kaya din common ang harrassment lalo na from gays kasi pinapabayaan lang natin, kala nila ok lang sayo.. totoong uso ang pamba-bakod sa mga tsr accounts, siguro kasi konti lang mga bata at magagandang babae..

Uso pambabakod ng co-workers dahil mura ang gastos sa panliligaw pag office colleague. Think about it, mahirap bantayan pag ang syota mo nasa ibang opisina - mahal pa ang ang gastos sa ligawan pag di mo kasama sa office. The long and short of it is.. "economics". Meron nga dinaan lang sa pabulong-bulong at barrage of text messages nakasungkit na ng chick na kasama sa contact center!

Isa pang style iimbitahin sa bar yung manginginom na hot chick at pag tipsy na si hot chick...ayun na!
