Don't you ever find it frustrating to go out shopping for decent, office attire and find some but they just don't fit you right? I do! :(

I am small,,,just hitting the 5-ft mark. Has a 24-25 in waistline, and around 90 lbs.

I've been buying from Kaye (good blouses, but the slacks and blazers still does not fit me perfectly), Kamiseta and Petit Monde (for blouses). I just recently discovered Tweeds (great fit with the slacks).

Know any more places where I can get these kind of clothes? (specially the blazers?)

Sometimes you may have to resort to alterations to get a better fit of off-the-rack clothes. I am in the petite category myself, barely hitting 5 ft. Sleeve length of blazers are what I often bring to the tailor (yes,a professional tailor!)for a bit of shortening.

Should you happen to go to HK, drop by G2000, U2, Theme and sometimes even Bossini for not so pricey suits. You would probably fit into a size 5 for skirts and 5-7 for blazers depending on whether you're broadshouldered or proportional to your frame.

Alternatively, if your office allows a more casual look, you may opt for cardigans or "twin-sets" for tops. Finish off your look with some accessories like a pearl necklace and you're just as professional looking as in a suit. Part of the "polished" look comes from the material of your clothes- avoid cheap-looking materials and you're off to a good start.

Good luck in your shopping! :)

I had some alterations done on most of my blazers too but it cost me another P300 or so. Wouldn't it be nice to spend this amount on something else?

Most of my skirts are from G2000 and they really look nice.

I heard Woman caters to us working girls too...Do they carry our sizes?

TWELVE: Good alterations do cause a dent in your wallet. However, if you have a good suit that was worth buying in the first place and another Php300 would give you THE right fit, then it should be worth it. Invest in a few good suits in basic colors and which fit you well and you can then mix and match them with your other stuff. And learn how to accessorize to give the same outfit a different look.

Good luck!

The Black Shop has some good stuff, but you really have to look for them since there are some sucky stuff too.

If you have time, the best thing to do really is buy tela from Divisoria or Tutuban, and go to a modista. A bit cheaper, and the clothes will fit you just right. :)

Greenhills has lots of trendy clothes for petite women. Also, my favorite brand for slacks and polos is G2000. :)
