If you have been watching the impeachment trials, you must, by now, have witnessed different kinds of lawyers in action. Which statement best describes your attitude towards the legal profession?

1) I admire and respect lawyers, I aspire to be one, I am proud to be one, or I wish I had become one.
2) I detest lawyers, I no longer wish to be or become one, or I regret being one.
3) Lawyers are necessary, but I neither admire nor detest them.

Is this strictly a multiple choice "test", or are we allowed to reason out? :)

Having read this thread, I'm compelled to say that the impeachment trial MAY NOT BE the best example of the legal profession in the first place. (I hope I won't get shot for saying this.)

What took place there was just one of the many sides of this vocation. With all due respect to ThePollster :), it may not be enough to say that by watching the impeachment trial, one would have "witnessed different kinds of lawyers in action."

cherrycola, yes, you're absolutely right. estelito mendoza may be despicable, but he is not THE LEGAL PROFESSION. joker arroyo or justice davide may have epitomized justice or proper advocacy, or whatever, but again, they are not THE legal profession. it is unfair to judge the whole profession on the basis of a few individuals.
