highest paying job for bs math fresh grad, P&G, uniliver, SMC, etc...

hi! im a bs math major in actuarial science fresh grad from one of the big 4 universities... i just need suggestions regarding jobs where i could immediately earn a good amount of money... maganda naman sana patutunguhan ko with my course kaya lang i don't want to pursue an actuarial career na... puro aral pa kasi eh...

do i have a shot with MT programs of big companies such as P&G and Uniliver??? Suggestions naman po mga maam and sir...


how about a career in SMC???


i was above average pala when i was in school but not an honor student...

Palagay ko pwede ka sa mga sinabi mo na MT. Pwede din IT, meron din akong mga kakilala na actuarial science din na nag-IT sa P&G, mataas kasi ang sweldo dun.

Or, you can use what you've learned in school sa mga insurance, pension industries. Ang ate ko kasi ay actuarial science din. Mukhang ang Sunlife maganda magpasweldo (tingin ko lang). Mas maganda pa malamang ang compensation mo kung makakapasa ka sa napakaraming exams sa actuarial (SOA, ASP). But since sabi mo wag muna actuarial career, other fields na applicable ay sa mga consulting companies (watson-wyatt, mercer, et al) or sa mga banking industries or those with market research (Deutsche KS).

Meron ditong thread para sa DKS. You can try to backread. Meron akong nabasa dun regarding sa salary range nila for entry level positions. So siguro nga tumatanggap sila ng fresh grad.....:confused:

Honestly, you would have a bigger shot with insurance companies (try multi-national insurance companies like phil-am, sunlife, manulife, axa, etc.) and i'm sure pay there wouldn't be that bad. If you're pursuing MT careers kasi, usually companies give the graduates of management and engineering courses more credit. Math is also a good background if you want to pursue IT careers (that's where the money is!)
