Many people in the Philippines are gaining access to a high speed internet connection in their area either at a public location or possibly in their home or business office. By having this type of internet connection it is becoming possible to do jobs for companies overseas (such as in the United States) where they can log directly into a company's computer servers to do work, thus bypassing the local BPO companies. I feel that this can help the workers and give them better pay and better working conditions. This article talks about this:

Its called telecommuting and has been in existence decades ago from the time the modem was first commercially available.

It is possible, but a lot of discipline is required from one person esp.Filipinos who have too much time in their hands.

In any case, if you can master this type of work, which is mostly time and task management then you could actually earn more than an average BPO worker.
