What do most call centers look for when hiring?
Are they particular in educational attainment and work experience?
How about abilities such as communication and computer skills?
And I heard that they conduct interviews primarily to test the communication skills of the person... is that true?
Any tips? :)
Thank you so much!

-AA-

this is true! they have agents who know only how to send an email to their peers and they go hysterical when they see a bluescreen! :grrr: ah well...
pag sales naman, madalas may kasamang parang role-play/phone simulation.. yung tipong sell me this paper clip.. like sa etel, pag sales associate, dalawang role play dadaanan mo.. newspaper ata tsaka apparel yung isa..
LOL i remember applying in eTelecare and i had no idea outbound pala sila. they asked me how i can sell an airconditioner and an icecream to an eskimo. shucks after that experience, nag-walkout na ako and swore never to try outbound call centers again. :rotflmao:

Are they particular in educational attainment and work experience?
most call centers require at least 2 years in college.

above average for each will be good ... pero kung weakness mo yung former, dapat bumawi ka dun sa latter... or vice versa. i wasnt a talkative person when i applied in teletech, but i have the tech skills so they still hired me. the interviewer said to me "you just need to be trained."
And I heard that they conduct interviews primarily to test the communication skills of the person...
yes coz most of the time you will be interacting with customers, may it be a voice or non-voice account.
