Hi, has anyone experienced recruited by Head Hunters? or kahit naka receive lang ng call? Do they hold office or freelance? :confused: any advice will be appreciated. thanks :)

me headhunter na merong office, meron ding wala. me kasamahan ako dati na member ng international headhunter.. wala ciang opis. sila kadalasan yung nakikipag-nego sa starbucks, o kung san convenient tumambay at makakapag-usap.

Meron ding naman me opisina. headhunter talaga sila, hindi agency or outsourcing company. direct employed ka kahit dumaan ka sa kanila. pag natanggap ka sa company na pinasahan nila ng resume mo, tapos na ang relasyon mo sa kanila. minsan tinatawag rin nila ang sarili as job consultant.

para skin, ok lang dumaan sa kanila. or magmaintain ng file/updated resume sa kanila. at magrequest ka lang na kontakin ka kung me opening dun sa job at salary na gusto mo.

mag ingat lang sa mga colorum na recruitment agency na nagkukunwaring headhunter :lol:

normally, headhunters have their own office space- but some freelance headhunters work at home.

The reason why they prefer to meet candidates in Starbucks or any place convenient for the candidate- is to make things easy for the candidate in question- they usually adjust to the person's schedule and location.

This is to make the interview and selection process less obtrusive- so as not to attract the attention of the candidate's current employer.

Headhunters usually target candidates with hard to find skills or candidates with proven experience in niche skills and markets.

Be flattered if you are headhunted :) it means that you have caught someone's attention in a good way. It means that you have what it takes to be "pirated"

Thanks for the info guys, :)I checked out one company located at makati. Tama yung sinabi mo pagie, direct employee mga candidates na ipapadala nila, maybe we will try them out. I'm currently working as a HR Assistant here in Libis, QC. we are looking for BRAND MARKETING OFFICERS, anyone interested :)?

Kung ni-refer ka ng headhunter sa employer, i think 90% match ka sa job requirement. Pagdating sa job offer, ikaw pa rin haharap sa employer, dapat mahusay ka sa salary negotiation. Dyan ako sumablay.:D anlupet kase nung HR makipag-nego, kumbaga kung nagsimula kami sa amount na 10 napunta na kami sa 4.
...naawa tuloy ako dun sa headhunter, antagal nila ako inalalayan tas di ko tinanggap yung offer. wala tuloy silang kita..:)
