Anyone at SGV Tax?

Yey! Finally, SGV offered me a job in their tax group.

To be honest it was no my first choice, and I told them about it.. but hey, if they think i could be better in tax than in their other business service lines, then I accept it..

so, is there anyone here at the SGV Tax or will be strarting a job at SGV tax? My contract starts on July 7. See you there!

anyway, nagsurvey n rin ako sa mga friends ko and most of them, not all, are happy with sgv tax.. sabi ko nga sa sarili, i dont expect that sgv tax group will give me job satisfaction. kaya, since nandito nako, ako na bahala kng pano ko maeenjoy *** stay with them..

diko pa pala alam MC ko.. pero ayoko ng MC4.. diba mining un.. gusto ko banking, mnc, entertainment..

Hi. I'm still with SGV Tax. This is my first job after passing the boards. I chose to be with Tax to be exposed to different industries and different companies. If you're in audit kasi, it's possible you will be assigned to several companies, or you'll be assigned to only one company. Since I wanted to be sure that I will be exposed to different industries/companies, I chose Tax over Audit. No regrets so far.:)

Yeap, you're right. Ikaw na bahala kung pano ka mag-eenjoy. It is not the company's responsibility to make you happy or satisfied - that's your responsibility. Kung grumpy na agad outlook mo when you start your job, you'll probably not be happy.

People resign for various reasons - not just because of job dissatisfaction. It could be due to finances, health, migration, etc. So far, okay naman yung mga careers ng mga Tax alumni.

I'm planning to resign this May from my work as Accounting Assistant in a multinational company and apply as tax associate in SGV...i just felt that my calling is really in taxation, so I really want to pursue this desire...can you guys give me an advise on how will I proceed...:confused:thanks and God bless!
