Want a new job but afraid to look for one?

Hi peeps, I want a new job... disappointed kasi ako sa work ko ngayon... masyadong pressure and sobrang OT. Gusto ko sana humanap ng ibang work but I'm afraid na mag-absent ng maraming araw para mag-apply sa ibang work.. ayoko kasi malaman ng company namin na naghahanap ako ng ibang work.

anyone having the same problem? advise naman dyan:confused:

you could send your applications through jobstreet or other job related sites so you won't be wasting your time walking in. apply ONLY in companies you really want to transfer to... then if they call you up for an interview, you could ask them if they could schedule you after office hours... some companies are open to that... if not, you could squeeze in your schedule two or more companies in one day for interviews para minsanan ang pag-leave at di masyadong mahalata na you're looking for a new job... hehe... ganyan kasi gawain ko dati... :)

btw, for what position are you planning to apply... baka meron dito sa company namin... i could refer you...hehehe

been working for 10 years. this has been my home, my comfort zone. but i feel like i need to ship out. just dunno how to start.

ano naman ang isyu at ayaw mo mahalata? kahit online ka mag-apply aabsent ka prin for interview. kung di ka willing umabsent ng ilang araw looking for a job, matutulad ka sa marami dyan na nabuburo sa kumpanyang ayaw nila. meron dyang inabot na ng higit 10years, at hanggang reklamo na lang sila...

i want a new job too, fortunately sa company namin maluwag ang time.. so, while im still looking for a job (online) andito padin ako.. luckily no one knows.. except my close friends here..

float your resume in the job sites (monster.com, jobsdb.com, and jobstreet.com)- if possible, post your CV in stealth mode (no contact info, name, and company name will be shown).

If ever you'll be invited over for an interview, request that the interview be done after office hours.

I agree, but in my case medyo mahirap yung after office hours... di mo kasi alam kung kelan ka OT so I guess mas OK umabsent. :)
