I suggest that u go back with ur prev com. based on ur statement, the offer was really competitive, same all good benefits and nsa field of study mo pa.. weighing things, its a wise choice that u go back.
just my two cents!

Thank you sir. My dilemma would be is I signed the job offer from the new company... If I accept the offer of my old company, it would be a breach of contract with the new one.
I may be incorrect but, is it a "no choice" situation but to go ahead with the new company and decline the offer of my old company? Or would the new company could be contacted about it. Thank you.

well, if you ask me, tingin ko dun ka na lang sa old company mo.. you don't have to worry kasi as long as hindi ka pa nag start with training, pwede mo i-retract ang contract.. just call them and tell them na gusto mo i-retract yung contract.. some companies might require you to submit a letter of retraction, pero yung iba pwede nga sa phone lang, sabihin mo lang sa HR.. ok lang talaga yun as long as hindi ka pa nag start.. and don't just ignore them.. :D very unprofessional naman yun kung nag sign ka sa kanila tapos nag sign ka uli sa old company mo.. tapos akala ng new company ok ang lahat, tapos bigla na lang without any notice hindi ka na lang papasok sa first day.. or hindi mo na sasagutin mga calls nila.. sobrang unprofessional lang talaga ng ganun.. pwede naman kasing i-retract talaga yung contact mo with the new company.. so yun.. eto na talaga da best na pwede mo gawin sa situation mo.. hope this helps.. :D

to TS: you can do a retraction. some companies don't actually give the formal contract during the offer. kadalasn, it's an offer letter. it's a usual habit that the contract is given on the first day that the employee starts work. malay mo, offer letter pa lang din ang nasa iyo.
in any case, kahit pa contract yan, hindi pa rin binding as long as hindi ka pa nagsa-start. they haven't paid you yet, di ba? so if you really want to go back to your previous company, just call the other one, and tell them na you're retracting. any reason will do, even the truth. baka nga mas okei pa yun eh. hindi ka nila isu-sue, believe me.
basta don't ignore them nga. fact of the matter is, sila naman ang kawawa pag inignore mo sila. the minute you signed the offer letter, they'll be stopping the hiring process. sayang ang slot mo, na pwede pa namang ibigay nila sa next best candidate di ba?
