We all know na matagal ng may HP Philippines...pero mostly ang focus nila eh yung local support like sales, customer service, after sales at kung may outsourcing man mostly back office. Pero yung call center operation eh wala pa kasi nasira yung HP Pavilion laptop ng sister ko last year pero pag tawag ko sa toll - free number eh na route sa Indian call center nila...hindi naresolve yung modem issue so ang ending pinalitan na lang ng bagong internal modem sa authorized service nila free of charge since 2 months pa lang siyang nabibili that time.

Then nakita ko yung friend ko na officer ng Dell yesterday. Pina-pirate daw siya ng HP.Kasi nagulat na lang daw siya bigla siyang tinawagan ng HP eh hindi naman siya nag apply.Sabi nakita daw ang profile niya sa jobstreet...tapos parang kino-convince siya na lumipat sa kanila. Eh buti na lang may presence of mind yung friend ko kasi baka Dell lang ang tumawag at sinusubukan lang siya pero HP daw talaga at magtatayo na sila ng call center dito...yun nga lang priority nila ang Dell employees kasi sila ang biggest competitor ng HP.

Tapos ang taray ng friend ko ha....siya pa ang nag sabi sa interviewer ng "How would you convince me to transfer to your company?" Tapos sabi sa kanya kasi #1 na daw ang HP ngayon tapos dami daw benefits...hahahahahaaa....sabi niya nagtaray daw talaga siya kasi noon parang nagmamakaawa siya sa mga call centers tapos now hinahabol habol na siya ng mga call centers....

Sabi ko sa kanya sana matuloy kasi mag papa refer ako sa kanya...hahahaa.Very tempting daw ang offer considering na malaki at marami na siyang benefits sa Dell. Let's pray na matuloy ito and for sure dami na namang mag ober da bakod ....its a good and bad thing kasi tataas na naman ang attrition sa iba and at the same time may magandang future ang mga agents.

The pay is good. The people are great. The career ladder is just a few hops away.

Then it's probably a typographical error or some sort of miscommunication. One inside scoop is that HP's Recruitment team would've not joined the CCAP expo until the last minute as it was initially a Sales driven campaign. :)

i used to work sa call center ng HP.

we supported P&G users sa Geneva and sa Asia.

helpdesk kami nun and around 40 people lang kami. we did trouble shooting and technical IT work.

ang call center ng Hp which supports the printers and laptops eh nasa india, pati ang call center nila nag nag susupport ng Hp employees andun din sa india.

afaik wala sila balak mag tayo sa pinas ng call center like dell. pero ang alam ko na relocate na sa the Fort ibang tiga Robinsons Summit and Ortigas. and yep may call center sila dun na itatayo pero helpdesk ulit and kaunti lang mga tao like the group i used to be with.

First, did you even ask for the name of the person who interviewed you from HR? If not, then you probably were not paying close attention to a lot of things when you applied. Second, did you ask questions regarding the position that you applied for? Otherwise, you would not be asking these questions, yeah?

My friends and I were visiting Summit Media in cybergate 3. Thinking that Summit Media was on the 8th floor, we asked the guard from JObstreet on the same floor if he knows where Summit Media is. yun po HP sa TWS Building sa the Fort it is owned by HP and it gives service to its clients like Sarah Lee and others. More on IT ang work and Helpdesk. Yun sa Cybergate I am not sure. One thing I am sure is that HP has three sites dito sa Manila: Robinsons Summit, SMPC and yun sa TWS the Fort.

You can check the HP website and create and account and look for jobs in the Philippines then apply for the desired job position.

Ako nga sa HP na and gusto ko i try dun pero di ako tinatawagan haha. Good luck sa pag apply, its not like the typical call center na apply na or pass ng resume ngayon and maya maya or bukas tatawagan ka na. :)

maganda benefits ng HP. again not call center to but more of helpdesk. kokonti lang sila.

may mga friends ako dati na nasa helpdesk ng Hp sa Makati na binigyan ng chance na lumipat sa the fort. ngayon yun mga naiwan sa makati nag sisi kasi maganda daw sa the fort and enjoy pa sila dun kasi yun sup nila cool. haha ka dikit ko dati yun isang sup nila sa the fort.

depende sa experience pero 20k up ang compensation sa mga Level 1 service desk agents sa the fort. same din naman sa makati.

may transpo allowance which is called taxi reimbursement tapos meron din sila clothing allowance 15k ata annually.

again yun call center / helpdesk sa the fort eh 10 to 20 percent lang ng HP. Madami dun SAP and other IT guys just like sa makati.

until now di pa din ako HP employee, sa agency kasi ako pero HP account na hinahandle ko.

galing ako sa helpdesk ng HP nun before they decided na sila na mag pa takbo. IMO mas maganda feed back ng mga nasa fort kesa sa nasa makati. *okay*

The Fort TWS and Robinsons Summit ang location ng mga department na ito.

Mga kakilala ko na nasa Help Desk ng HP eh nag simula L1 ngayon QA and TL na sila after less than a year kasi nga konti lang competition.

Basta pakita nyo lang na dedicated kayo sa work nyo like di kayo nag aabsent and maganda stats nyo.

Before sa L1 ako ng Help Desk pero ngayon di na. Sa Hp pa din pero different department na ako.

Tip lang, kapag nag offer sila na mag OT, kunin nyo na kaagad dahil would you believe I know some one na sumweldo ng 60k isang buwan na sweldo na yun minus taxes dahil sa pag OT nya? hehe

Kayo din, di kayo makaka pulot ng 60k.

Oh, what I like the most sa work dyan is napaka dali kasi mga kausap mo mga corporate people, not consumers so di kayo ma stress. :)

plus standard and windows os ng mga pc nila so magkakapareho halos mga interface at mga programs na trouble shoot.

Take the mrt to ayala station and then turn left at the mrt platform and then turn straight right to "the fort bus".

Just ask the bus driver to stop by Philippine ARMY HQ or by "libingan ng mga bayani".

From HQ, go straight down the alley until you see mc donald's on your left. OneWorldSquare is just beside Mc donald's. TWS is beside OWS and right in front of "Chinese International School".

OR if you are in a hurry... just ride a motorcycle from the bus terminal. Just say to the driver that you need to go to TWS and volla!! You'll be there in a flash. You can pay 30php for the ride.

Another route I know is from Guadalupe.
From here, you can ride the jeep signposted "gate 3" and then just ask the driver to stop by Philippine ARMY HQ or "libingan ng mga bayani".
