i dont want to be rude but you can read the threads here. there are plenty. ako nag hahanap din ng work and i read one thread at a time.

you can check the WEST thread, ICT thread, 24/7 and kung ano ano pa thread and you can PM the people who are still there and maybe they can help you.

mapupuno po kasi ang forum nato ng mga threads na makikita naman sagot sa mga existing threads.

who said its wrong to ask for tips. all i am saying is the things you are looking for can be found if you browse and read the threads because i for one was looking for information about these companies and i didnt make threads to find them.

again the tests in call centers are very similar.

initial interview with a test then another interview and there you go, job offer or go home. its that simple.

and maybe you can spend more time outside applying than sitting in front of your computer :D

text speak ticks me off kasi plus the fact na all the information can be found naman sa mga threads. i found what she was looking for sa mga threads dito. west has a thread, ict has a thread, all the information she needed are there.

Ok Jamimay, West is located here sa building namin and i see some west employees here often. according to their thread WEST sucks for the same reasons that other call centers suck. TOXIC daw, POWER TRIPPING SUPS, HR and PAY DISPUTES ( dont all call centers have one of these? ) etc etc etc.

test nila is same as the other call centers. initial interview to check your proficiency in english. then a test. then if you pass you will be invited in another interview which they call the final interview. if you pass you will be offered a job offer. if not then they will send you home. either they will tell you that you didnt quite pass or that they will call you.

all the call centers are almost alike. there are some with typing test, writen exams, phone exams but bottom line they have the same structure in their screening, interview -> test -> final interview -> job offer.

Usually madali lang ang test.....sa interview ka mag prepare. Sa West meron silang guides na tinatanong for final interview. Be sure to speak ENGLISH at all times..at di taglish ..kahit sa natural accent lang at di maarte....Sa SYkes naman minsan they have weird questions like... If you are friend is blind how can you describe Color Red to your friend? heeeeeeeee...... No correct answer, they want to know your communication skills....

Ako galing sa West but after few months of staying, i quit!
Simply because, the company SUCKS!

Go to PS, the salary is not that high compare to others but the benefits (med benefits), atmosphere and people - rocks!

i've been with west for 2 years...alam natin lahat ng company may bad side pero in fairness sa west they are better compare sa company ko now..they are not too generous when it comes to team bldg and xmas party..pero nkkmiss *** bonding na nabuo..petiks sa mga unang account na napuntahan ko wala masyado calls...never ako nagka dispute sa pay...d lahat ng TL power trip..meron mga TL na maka-agent pa rin...well..depende siguro sa account..tip lang..be confident sa interview..initiate shake hands...that's my secret! hehehe..
