in what context would you be referring to as discreetly?

usually nothing is discreet (with prudence, wise self-restraint) about resigning.

Just tell your boss that you were hired by another company, and you wanted to explore a career outside your shell. Keep positive scripting. The truth is, the company does not care if you leave or stay. Unless, you are the President of the company. In fact, most of the time regardless if you are the top execs, you would just be asked to render 30 days for transition period.:rotflmao:

Just leave, and submit your resignation letter stating the effectivity date. :rotflmao: To make it more discreet, submit a resignation letter which is effective immediately. What makes you want to be discreet? Are you affected by the co-workers around you? We make our own happiness, Dont stick to a job you don't enjoy. No one cares, the people around you (in the office) are there to earn a living, and with their very own reasons. Your stint with tthe company is just part of the your life's history. :rotflmao:
