And mahirap b **** ang interview kapag sa ortigas ka? kasi *** friend ko from CVG makati sabi nya, madali *** daw.. uhm modesty aside, i can speak better **** compared to her. dun kasi sa ortigas last monday, wala ata pumasa dat day. huhuhu. hope mgreply kayo especially mga tga CVG. ;(( im totally sad now. i wana work there. sobra as in todo na to.

I tried to apply here before and good that I passed the interviews. I think the key is you just need to be spontaneous, articulate, and smart in the way you converse with the interviewer. Fast talking, but really saying nothing is a big no-no. Also HR there is kind of ***, they are quite intimidated if you're too good so don't show it all haha.

OT: When I was applying in an IT company, I was interviewed together with a former Convergys employee. He was tested on how articulate he was however as I listen to his story, I am quite disappointed. Maybe because I am expecting more from a former Convergys rep. I guess I was wrong with Convergys because he "failed to amuse me". My friends talking about Convergys as "Conyo", "Sosyal", etc. but after that situation, the image changed.

been with convergys for almost 9 months now.. so far... masaya naman dito.. malaki pasahod nila, at parating may pakain.. heheheh...


well shar ko lang experience ko nung pag apply ko ha.. Kung sa exam lang.. medyo may kahirapan talaga.. kasi puro technical yung mga exam eh.. computer2x.. eh wala pa naman ako masyadong alam sa computer.. heheheh.. pero awa ng dyos pumasa naman..

After that initial interview na ako.. so ayun smooth lang naman ang interview.. mga simpleng questions lang yung mga tanong.. tell me more about you.. what do you do on your free time? How do you handle stress and pressure? mga ganun lang..


After that.. ang dami pa palang exams.. parang nahihilo na nga ako eh.. kasi may stages eh, pag pumasa ka sa bawat stage, proceed ka sa next stage.. naka anim ata ako na exam.. kakapagod.. pero na enjoy ko lang din..

Ayun pumasa naman, so final stage na.. at yun nga ang final interview.. so super serious na ang mga questions.. like how do see yourself 5-10 years from now..


Basta tip lang guys.. sa mga gustong mag apply sa convergys.. althou kelangan din ok yung english dapat.. pero di naman kelangang superb yung english at me accent na..

tini test lang nila as to how comfortable kayo when speaking the language.. at ang pinaka importante dito.. dapat honest and sincere kayo sa mga sagot nio.. wag na wag mag sinungaling.. kasi nalalaman nila yun kapagka nag la-lie ang applicant eh..

kasi may friend ako nasa Recruitement, madami silang di tinanggap kahit sobrang galing na.. kasi nag la-lie eh. Possible attrition daw kasi yun.. application pa nga lang daw nag la-lie na.. how much more pag nasa production floor na daw..

ganun lang guys.. basta honest lang sa mga sagot nio..wag din over confident pag sumasagot sa mga tanong.. kalma lang.. ok

awww... just try applying again after 6 months if you still want to work at CVG.

meantime, explore other options...

there are plentry of good call centers out there be it BPO or in-house...

just don't let this hurdle keep you from finding the right job and company for you =)...

hmmm..i really cant think of anything y di ka pumasa kc *** nmn ako dun..but normally pag medyo maangas un applicant di nila tinatanggap..working in a colcenter, cvg in particular doesnt mean na dapat magaling ka mag-english or super englisera/englisero ka to the max..to tell u the truth kahit ngwowork ano ** s cvg naiirita padin ako s mga agents na english for life kahit *** nmn s floor..:bop:


dont worry..pde k p nmn mag apply ulit eh..*** mga mistakes mo wag mo n uulitin..think of the questions na tinanong *** and try to answer it again in front of a mirror as a practice..:bashful:

and 1 more thing..its an advantage kun meron ka colcenter experience..if u want u can apply sa ibang center then once u got regularized apply k s cvg..mas malaki p maooffer nila ***..*okay*

tip!...be confident! confident in using english language while answering their questions. nung time ko, 2 lang kami pumasa that day..and minsan napapansin namin na halos walang pumapasa talaga.

hindi batayan kung galing ka sa maganda BECAUSE based on my experience..this is my first job as well first call center job.

jut be true to yourself. it doesn't necessasirily mean that when you answer long means that you will pass. be accurate, keep it simple and just be confident..

i worked here for 2yrs and eto yung first call center ko. final interview ko, super kabado talaga ko as in and medyo nanginginig talaga yung boses ko. hehe. kahit naman wala kang english accent, as long as alam mo yung sinasabi mo, hindi confusing (direct to the point kumbaga pero wag naman super direct, kailangan mo rin i-explain yung sagot mo), and honest ka, there's a big chance na i-hire ka nila. that's what happened in my case. natuto lang ako ng mga english accent na yan nung nagtraining na ko and nung nasa production na.

hi there, I already passed but my training sched is moved, sa commonwealth ako ng apply, hassle nga kasi dapat start na ako this week or next week, tas they received a call baka Oct na daw.

anyway minsan depende din sa interviewer, and some of my friends said meticulous daw talaga sa Ortigas. Pero minsan kasi talaga mas gusto nila madaldal, ayaw nila short answers, esp if they are looking for a certain explanation

nakalusot ako...:p nakapag exams ako(computer), nahirapan ako sa prospeak...pero pasado, tapos super lucky sa final interviewer kasi SOBRANG BAIT*okay* tapos nagtawanan pa kami kasi JO & training kasi kinabukasan.... na kaagad... pinapunta na ko ng INSULAR..
pang-hapon pako... yung kasabayan ko sa training grabee... nag english training sila 1week yata pero walang bayad!!! bago pinag-CCT
kaya nga medyo OP ako kasi bonded na sila... meron yatang ganun, pag di na kuntento final interviewer mo sa iyo meron kang training pero di bayad... (pass & fail din) bago ka mag CCT. pero traumatic ever ang CCT ko kasi super hirap... :rolleyes:

ganun **** kc pag nag-apply ka sa colcenter..u need to be confident enough sa pagsagot ng tanong nila..kelangan may konting daldal factor pero wag nmn OA..un kasing kadaldalan with sense ang magiging puhunan mo to be a good csr eh..:D ska eventhough may training they wouldnt get someone who needs to be trained para m22 mag-english or maging confident..training is just for improvement...ang advise ko *** *** try speaking in english sa harap ng salamin..hanggang s masanay ka ng nageenglish at mejo mawala un hiya and nervousnes mo..

di naman sa kayod kalabaw talaga.. andun lang yun pressure hitting your stats as an agent..

sobra kasing competitive mga tao sa cvg.. di lang kasi joke ang pag work sa cvg.. you have to work your *** out..

at may makukuha ka rin naman pag na hit mo yung stats mo or nalalampasan mo pa yung required stats na ma hit for a particular account.. kasi may bonus for that..


yun ang drive ko to work hard..

pero ayos naman talaga sa cvg.. masya naman..

ok yung environment.. medyo stiff nga lang.. kasi work kung work talaga.. pero ok naman ang mga TL's, OM's at yung site director namin..

Hey there.

Don't lose hope. Life is just like that, you fail without ever knowing the reason why but the thing you need to do now is set your objectives and since you want to be a part of the convergys family, then apply again after 30 days as what was mentioned.

Just like the others cvg was my first call center work, I was a fresh grad with no idea whatsoever of the call center work but fortunately I did pass.

I really hope you good luck and even if I'm an ex-cvg employee I could attest that it is a really good company....hey! iwasan mo ang sprint account ha! hahaha.;)

Lahat naman ng trabaho kelangan pagtrabahuan di ba? I think the reason that other people might be thinking that working in CVG is akin to "trabahong kalabaw" is because our company aims to give exemplary customer service regardless of which account we are handling. :)

I was rejected by CVG twice (after the first rejection, I tried after 6 months but still did not make it). That was really a blow to my serious blow to my self- esteem as I used to consider myself as good communicator. I was trying to impress the Recruitment Specialist too hard I forgot to answer her questions adequately. Worse, she hadn't looked at me the entire time I was interviewed ( she only glanced occasionally to ask a different question). But I applied for other call center and it was really easy to be hired. After getting enough experience, I applied for a dayshift job.

It is not the end of your call center career, really, after being rejected by CVG. Like you, I tried to be associated with the best in the business but I realised now, there are better centers other than CVG in terms of compensation, benefit and training. You only have to scour the ads and try :P

Admittedly though, being a CVG reject still haunts me at night. A few years from now, I'll apply there again, hopefully for a non-agent position na. Sweet redemption, pag nagkataon :D

basta in my case, i started in cvg as agent in july 2004 then got promoted to qa on oct 2005. pwede mong sabihing matagal yan (more than 1yr) pero yan lang kse yung time na may opening for a qa.

^ yeah..depends talaga yan sa opening..if your site has an opening for QA kahit 6months ka palang..as long as you meet the requirements edi go kana..i think basic requirement is that you pass your last 3 scorecards and you dont more than 1 absence..same as if you want to be transferred to a different site..;)

sabi ng friend ko nasa higher position pag me work na kailangan tapusin kahit di ka nakasched papasok kailangan tapusin walang overtime. yun lang you don't have to take calls kasi product trainer kasi sya but of course gagawa ka ng report kung ano accomplishment mo. halos lahat naman yung ang sinasabi pag higher position ka gagawa ka ng report kaht workforce gumagawa ng report.
