my recommendations:

Accenture requires a 30 day notice when an employee resigns, be sure to comply with this.

Steps on how to initiate resignation.

1) Talk to your immediate supervisor about your intention, this is to facilitate the proper turnover of your tasks
2) Put into writing your intention via a formal resignation letter
3) Once resignation has been acknowledged, initiate clearance procedures
4) Attend exit interview

I recommend that you finish your bond duration before initiating your resignation.

As per Accenture policy, you will get your pro-rated bonus after you resign and have been cleared of any liabilites (as per experience... you'll get your check 2 months after your resignation).

what will happen if i initiate the resignation 2 weeks before but effective after the bond duration?

It might be possible that you'll be liable pay the bond amount, since technically- resigning before the official end of your bond violates your contract.

Check your contract terms and conditions to be sure- check if your bond should be paid in full, or on a pro-rated basis.

best course of action? IMHO, finish your bond, and resign after you have fulfilled your obligation.

i'd like to help you out as I've had lots of experience with these situations (not necessarily with Accenture), but i can't make out much of what you're trying to say.

I wonder how you survived your work with the way you write your sentences. For somebody who works in a company like accenture I expected more than sentences composed of indecipherable text lingo.

We're not "expecting" much, but sana you could complete your words when trying to convey your ideas.

Hindi ito celfone.
Walang 160 character limit dito.

^^ he just wanted to tell you na you should avoid posting or writing here with "text lingo"... hindi naman po kasi cellphone itong forum and most of the forumers here don't understand that kind of lingo... nakakahilo kasi saka magkakaroon ng ibang interpretation/meaning like "icp" mo diba? so please avoid that.

you might not care, but others do.

And if you really don't "care" then others may not care to answer your concerns the next time - if there is any.

Swerte mo Corinthian was in a good mood today.

^^ maybe try to consult your HR upon your resignation kung pwedeng mapaikli yung 30-day notice mo.

i will try to talk to HR Rep about this na ***. but i will inform my supervisor first.. just want to make sure na walang problema after that.
thanks anne.. ;)

1. patulan and at least quits na kayo
2. patulan and sampahan mo ng insubordination (kung tao mo siya) or gross disrespect (blah blah) para ma-suspend (or ma-terminate) at matuto. *okay* *peace*

by law 30 days talaga ang required notice time, pero kung pumayag ng mas maaga, good for you.

thanks council...

I'm not sure if this applies to those in the middle of project dev't. Yung friend ko kasi katatapos lang ng project at almost idle sila that time.

Just make sure to have a complete and smooth turn over of your responsibilities.

When you are talking with the HR, do it in your most calm way. Your main goal should be a smooth turnover, and a nice realtionship. this could help you in your future endevour. Dont forget that HR(current) and HR(future job) talks concretely.

just my 2 cents..*okay*

I'm on the same predicament. I'm turning 5 yrs now in my first job and I really feel that I need to change companies so that I can experience another type of job.. I'm applying now to different local companies hoping to transfer in one of them either in December or January. Well, so many people left in our dept this year and after this "massive" leave, HR soon realized to give in to some grievances in exit interviews and they instituted some new "benefits" for the employees to say the least. They changed our work schedules so that employees will have more quality time. But even though they now implemented this, I am still decided to leave the company. I'm the only one left in my batch and I think I need to transfer since I'm no longer happy in my job.

ganito step:

1. kunwari last day mo sa contract is november 13, kelangan mo submit ng resignation letter mo by october 13.
2. submit mo to through email, the date today, stating your name, your position, your last day, why are you going to leave (in my case before i told them that i have a family issue, pero the truth is im sick of doing OT everyday and coming to work on weekends and holidays). submit it to your project manager, immediate team lead, your project manager will then forward this to HR and you should receive an email from HR immediately)
3. then ok na un so far, kelangan mo nalang fill up un mga clearance materials na nirerequire nila sayo. maganda naman process ng accenture sa resignation so di ka naman mahihirapan.
4. transition your work to the one who's going to do your work. this is why they have this 1 month thing.
5. say goodbye to your teammates on your last day, usually magpapakain pizza ang TL mo lol.

p.s. nagresign ako tapos bum ako for 3months +, then i decided to look for a job, di naman ako nahirapan kasi 4 naging proj ko sa accenture so iba iba ang technology na alam ko, and so far worth it naman kasi doble ang nakuha kong sahod offer compared sa huli kung nakukuha sa accenture. have never regret leaving that company atleast ngayon pwede na ko mag net sa work haha!. puro banking kasi naging proj ko kaya no internet GG. :D hope this helps
