Good day Pexers!!!
I have posted on other threads that I've planning on shifting careers, this has been on my mind for a few months now.
My question is for those who have decided to work for another company:
1. Why did you resign? What were the contributory factors to your resignation?
2. When is the right time to resign?
sigh....

1) Why? better pay and benefits, better management, better work environment, better career growth prospects
2) When? when you feel like going to work is akin to marching down to the bowels of hell... where every second you spend in the office is spent in agonizing boredom, and ennui.. when you're surrounded by idiots and morons... when you loath the very presence of your boss and colleagues, and when the happiest moment of the day is when you leave the office door and regale your freedom.. until the next day when you have to go back and repeat your pathetic routine :glee:

actually the question is quite subjective because there is no correct answer as each person can cling on to even the most "mababaw" reason for resigning (e.g. my great great grandfather of my cousin pass away so i need to resign in order to take care of my Nth level cousin)
As for when to resign, i suppose if there is a bonus element (e.g. 13th month pay, in banks you can try to opt when you get the bonus) then would be the ideal time to resign. Again this is subjective as your new job may give you more than what your previous company bonus might be and if you're sick and tired of your work diba?
You're the one with accenture if im not mistaken right? Why not instead of resigning before the bond period, cant you use your leaves to offset it? E.g. if you have 2 more weeks to go, go on a vacation or emergency leave. Then you can report one day or something to submit your resignation and then complete your mandatory handover. Again its only a suggestion

nope I'm not that person you are referring to. :)
I work for a remittance/trading company....there are so many issues with my employer health and work related to which I'm a bit dismayed.
