Hi everybody! I'm new here at PinoyExchange. I just want to get some advise/opinion from those people who are working at Computer Professionals or from those people who are familiar with the company.
I received a message from CPI 2 days ago saying that I passed the screening process. They told me that the training will start on January 2009. Here are my questions...
1. If I passed the screening process, why haven't they given me any offer yet? Could it be because the training is a bit delayed and that they just don't want to rush into anything?:confused:
2. Am I already ensured of a position (I'm scared that they might back out on me since I haven't signed a contract from them yet)?:confused:
3. I read from previous threads that the training will only be for 3 weeks. Is it an "Oracle-specific" type of training (meaning will they teach me how to create a database, how to administer one, etc...?) or will they just teach me how to fix existing database of their clients? I'm asking this question, because I want to be trained to become a DBA. Will I learn a lot from the training?:confused:
4. How's the training? Is it hard? Are they strict? Is it worth-while? Do they terminate people for not passing the training?:confused:
5. How's the pay?:confused:
I know I have a lot of questions that probably be better if I just ask them directly to their HR people, but I just don't want to sound too inquisitive. They might turn me down. Anyway, thanks a lot in advance for all your replies. I really need this one big time. Any answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!:)
