hey guys, just wanna ask a quick q. I worked in a call center company several months ago (1st job), but after only over 2 months I had to resign because I had to review for the nursing board last November. I submitted my resig. letter, rendered my days. only thing is, I haven't done the clearance yet, 1 big reason is coz someone took my headset & now it's lost somewhere w/in the floor. & the company said that I need to pay for it, but the price is too f@&*in much!
just wanna know, I'm gonna be applying at another company in January. will that clearance stuff affect my chances of getting employed? few guys I know told me to just tell 'em that "this would be my first job". that way, they wouldn't ask for any COE. I mean, would this be acceptable? if I do get employed, won't they find out or something?
anyone have any similar experience? thanks in advance!
