This January magkakaroon ng opening sa tech , 40 people ang kailangan. Mageexpand kami , almost lahat ng hire nila mapupunta sa DOC ( Dell on Call ) puro softwares and sales sya.

waaa i applied there few weeks ago and already passed the exam and interview. i was then informed that the offer will be given by february, and i guess because they're pooling people first. meron nga ako kasamahan sa work na for job offer na din siya for february and malamang lamang ka-batch ko siya. but how come na there are openings for january for DOC? i guess they'll be offered by march? :lol:

Ang alam ko opening this January pero ang start ng training ay sa February. Right now we are switching from SMB Tech to SMB DOC , official date is Jan 12 , in short mag move up ang account from Tech to DOC or CBG. Dell QC Tech will be an income generating site na together with Corporate support.

tanong ko lang... sa Dell QC ba, we have quarterly bonuses? how many percent from the basic salary? i'm confused kasi eh, there's "this" other company whose basic salary offer is way bigger than dell's and to think that i already have an experience with Dell's outsourcer for more than a year, they should give me credit for that. i don't know which company i should work for. both companies have 20% night diff. but the basic salary difference is 4k. "This" company has quarterly bonuses. Both have 3k allowances. Help me guys.

the only reason why i would want to pursue Dell is because i am already familiar of the metrics. that being said, i won't be having a hard time getting high grades when i'm in, but everytime i think about Dell's basic salary, i crumble, ang baba kasi talaga.

kung agent level ang aapplyan mo 20+k is something. if you really are capable of hitting or exceeding the metrics as you put it, then it will definitely reflect on your payroll every year and every performance review. why worry about the entry level salary if you are confident enough to perform? why not apply to higher level position?

and by the way...the company is stable enough...so yeah there are other companies that offers better salaries than dell. question is, for how long will this company last? from the looks of the economy of the US...who knows

well in a call center profession talagang kailangan ng good communication skills (be it local or foreign account). if you are targeting for call centers with foreign account, number 1 (or 2) talaga ang english comm skills na requirement. it's true that communication skills can be learned but of course the interviewers will gauge your ability to express yourself in english. part talaga ng training sa call center ang soft skills (comm skills) because they aim to familiarize new hire the kind of client that new hires will encounter and how to deal with them.

there are centers that accepts undergrad or those who would like to have a part time job to support their studies. but for part time job, i don't think you will be given the salary given to people with full time employment as far as i know. kung high school grad sa call center, then you should at least have some skill na would be useful naman para sa inaaplyan mo. syempre, they are looking for people who will work for them and be trained in a minimum span of time (trainings usually is either 2 or weeks but will not really go for months) with a set of skill that will fit their requirement.

so the question is, disregarding your educational background, what are the skills that you can offer a call center company?

but then again, i would not recommend call center for a part time job. this job is really demanding both physically and mentally. i don't know if people here will agree but as for my experience, this job requires more than part of your time and attention. :rolleyes: just my 2 cents....

if you mean monthly, quarterly or whatever length of time you have perfect attendance awards or incentives, NONE.

length of service, haven't heard of it yet because dell is less than five years old. some things i noticed with employees with 5 years, their ID has a different color. as for length of service awards, that is yet to be seen here in dell philippines.

what they value are people who can perform. when you perform well, that will surely be recognize and you may be promoted to a higher grade level.

there could probably be a few customers complaining about that software but imagine how many will complain if hundreds of customers will wait on queue because hundreds of agents were suddenly removed?

And why will the higher management allow those who are not involved in this scam to lose their jobs? Those who are honestly not participating and are against the said malpractice?

Punish those who are involved and commend those who were able to resist the temptation of earning more money.

Dell's management is smart and just.

im one of the pioneer techs here(back when wala pa dell qc) and i can confirm that dell is a good company.. it might not have the highest paying entry level job there is right now, but as long as you perform, have good work ethics(meaning wala ka kaaway, u dont do gaming, di ka pala-absent, on time as much as possible) and you continuously strive to improve, dell will treat you well din...

to sir anti , i know you mean well by "police"ing people here para mamoderate yung thread and even when now lang ako napadpad dito sa new thread pero i think it's a bit obvious that the way you post here can be a negative reflection on the kind of people who work for dell.. especially that you seem like you're an advocate for dell..

In DELL kc may Grade Level ( A5 , B1 , B2 , B3 and so on.... ) and Position ( Tech , Resolution Specialist , Tech Support Manager , Quality Analyst etc. ), yung salary mo ay based sa Grade Level mo. A5 is a starting Grade Level for Technician , may mga Tech din na B1 ang grade level , sila yung mga tech na promoted.

Well... according sa mga meetings kanina , it is quite impossible that Dell QC will be bought by other OSP. The reason behind is QC is supporting a different LOB , we are under SMB not Consumer. Consumer has a lot of Customers and Cost but little PROFIT , kasi nga Home users sila comparing to SMB less customers medium cost but hight profit , sila kc ang mga taong kung bumili ng computer at least 2-10 per transaction ( they have their own IT ). Dell QC have a lower cost compared to Etelcare , of all Dell badge sites ang Dell QC and isa sa may pinakamababa na cost.

Just point SCVMM at your outdated old servers running on new-third-party and thus unsupported hardware.
