As per my final interviewer:

Solaris Tower is sited at Dela Rosa Street (a newly built BPO Tower)

We'll only gonna be handling a "postpaid account" for T-Mobile...

As for my case, I never worked for a British Co. though I've worked for AT&T wayback '07 so I have backgrounds na rin for Mobility stuffs. Nonetheless, the very fact the it's going to be with the posh Brits and their totally way different culture (having an elocution and pronunciation for "Harry Potter" as "Harry Pohtah") now that's the fixations one must be mindful about wahahaha :britain: :britain: :britain: :britain:

wow. UK account. sa umpisa mahirap pero okay UK accout. wag ka nga lang palokoloko dahil mahilig magreklamo mga briton. Irereklamo ka sa OFCOM yari buong account niyo.

management level ako ng UK account company. satisfied ako sa trabaho ko but i keep my options open. magkano ba pagpirate niyo ko? hahaha...

btw, ano nature ng tmobile account dito? customer service ba ng lost and stolen cards? collection? imposible ata ng directory assistance yung account kasi number 1 parin 118118 sa UK.

(24/7) . Pero mukhang SALES kasi yung convo topic nila,
about sales. TELCO ACCOUNT din ba yun & AU account???
Kasi nga hapon na nung nakasabay ko yung mga agents, nag-apply
kasi ako (one of the cc in RCBC II). Kaya nakasabay ko sila sa elevator.

Sa mga gusto magpalipat sa Bagong account pwede naman e..as nyo lang muna sa OM or supervisor nyo kung papayagan kayo, well actually the first wave was filled na, we are already starting to fill up the 2nd wave, training wil be this march na..or if you want pwede naman kayo magrefer..may incentives pa kayong makukuha..

Hi, I would like to inquire about any non-voice positions open for Au accounts (e.g. QA). I am currently still employed in an Au account company and i have been there for 3 years and still counting. I am now considering moving up the ladder on my career especially that i have already been through 4 diffrent departments (inbound, outbound, sales, and services alike) throughout my 3-years of employment. I arrived 8:45am..i filled up the form and gave it to the lady in the reception area..she told me intervew is at 10..so i went to the lobby...met new friends dhil nbato n ko n paghihintay..came 10:15 we were cold for the initial interview..so lucky mga new friends ko mga ksama ko sa initial intervw..we were intsructed to go to a small rum for our group interview..so intrvew went well..were even laughing with the "HR lady"...as in no hassle...very cooperative lhat..and lahat nkaksgot..then we did the call listening and answer some really easy questions..so we were confident that we all pased, at least the initial intervew...we gt back sa lobby area to wait for the "love letter"...and guesswat????...we all didnt make it!!...parang huh????it was just a tell me about yourself thing..and considering we all had diff cc exp..and graduated college..so i rily dont understnd wats there basis in failing us??..pls enlighten me...thanks

Hi Bluchie.. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't make it.. Anyway, dami pa naman jan iba call centers, don't worry I'm sure you'll make it next time.. Sa tingin ko, nag base sila sa kung pano ibenta nung applicant yung sarili niya. Tinitingnan nila kung gano sila ka confident sa sarili nila, kung conversational ba sila o parang robot mag english. Importante din kasi ang grammar and prounounciation. Though hindi pa ako nakakapag apply sa 24/7, baka mataas yung expectation nila sa mga applicants. At saka nakalagay sa qualifications, kelangan at least 6 months experience sa call center.Basta wag ka mapanghinaan ng loob ok? Good luck po sayo, sana matanggap ka sa iba soon.. ;)

thanks qtchiq...but u know way back...i rily dont think n lame *** intervw namin...evryone was "pabibo kid"..and regarding sa pronunciation and all..i think di naman din sablay..kaya nga we were rily surprised with the outcome...but u know at least i had an exp like that...now i know having a cc exp is not a guarantee that u'll be hired the next time you apply for another cc...i dont know **** kaya nga i wanna know there basis so next i cn improve more db?...but anyway...thanks again!...godbless..

one more thing when i saw dr add refrding hiring CSR for their new account...wala naman nklagy n cors shuld be business related...as long u have cc exp daw...pero last sun wen i saw the add again...meron n nklgay n for CSR post cors shuld be business related daw...so i guess that the rison y I wasnt hired...im IT grad eh...i just wanted to have CSR exp...i was a TSP at sykes before...so un bka un nga rison....

I'm sorry to hear what happened with your application, but as what qtchiq said, I'm sure you'll make it next time.

I have teammates who failed during their first and some, 2nd application with 24/7, but they reapplied and got in.
We may not know what their real basis is, but don't lose hope. Reapply after 6 months! :)

EH dito sa thread nababasa ko 10am talaga usually start ng interviews... so it's a waste of time to drop by ng ganun kaaga..

Its not at all a biggie deal kung matapos ako ng 7pm, may application nga sa ibang centers umaabot pa ng 10pm (ganun ka lala, ma compress lang ang final interview)

Gusto ko rin lang malaman kung anung araw pinaka- medyo matumal yung flow ng applicants??? I mean may araw ba in a week na ganun? :D

Unlike before. ngayon, di na ganon ka-clear yung mga job postings nila. there was a time, I heard from a rep na nagrarant sa floor. he referred someone na hindi business course grad - kasi eto yung nka-post sa TRKS namin (actually, yes). when the referred agent dropped by para mag-apply, the receptionists told her na they only accept business course grads. when he asked the recruitment officers, they said, they're hiring non-busness grads nmn daw. ang labo diba?

oh, well.. e ganon e.. di mo alam trip ng recruitment e.;)

o, by the way, maraming mga nursing grads, psycho grads sa floor and even newly grad reps. so kayo nang bahala mag-isip kung ano talaga trip ng recruitment.:rotflmao:

hindi lang siguro nalinawan *** rep sa mga requirements.

for nursing grads, i know, we accept them as long as they have atleast 6 months international call center experience. same goes with those ppsych grads, pt grads, so on, so forth. basta may previous call center experience, okay.


for fresh grads, ok lang din. basta hindi over 25 years old.

nilinaw ko ito sa recruitment.

hindi sila "just making standards"

Lahat may basis, medyo complicated ang standards, but once you fully understand, you'll see the logic and you'll understand that the standards are concrete and have solid basis.

from pbcom, wag kang tatawid ng ayala, lakad ka along rufino...
me makikita kang intersection, dun sa intersection merong starbucks sa kanto, facing starbucks, lakad ka pakaliwa dire-diretso lang hanapin mo lang 106 along valero...sa labas ng 24/7 me bench na maraming nagyoyosi tapos sa ground floor yung recruitment...punta ka front desk yun na ang simula ng buhay hehehe

pumunta kasi ako dun 10 am, pinabalik ako ng 11:30 am...nung time na pagpunta ko marami ng nagkaron ng initial interview...11:30 am yung group interview ko tapos around 3:30 pm or 4pm yung second interview ko....mga 5 pm nag CBT ako....7 pm na ko nakapag contract signing...

Things I HATEFULLY DESPISE about 24/7

1. Hindi malamig ang tubig sa pantry, minsan lagi pang nauubos so kailangan pumunta ka pa sa ibang floor para kumuha ng tubig.... And 1 dispenser for the whole floor? Absurd talaga...

2. Hindi man lang ayusin yung mga stations kaya hindi mo tuloy alam kung sira yung avaya or not. Minsan nakapagpull up ka na ng tools mo and natest mo na ang avaya mo kung tumutunog then at the middle of the call eh biglang magfefreeze ang avaya.... Then pag sinabi mo sa wfm ang isasagot lang nila "ay sira pa rin pala yang station na yan?"

3. Yung mga avaya eh sira, mahina or worse hindi talaga tumutunog. So everytime you have to test your avaya to know if its working or not. Yung ibang headset putol putol na hindi man lang mapalitan tapos ikaw pa sisisihin kung kailangan mong lumipat ng station dahil sira yung naupuan mo... Can't they take time to check the stations and put a tag if something is not working or if it needs to be replaced? Naiistorbo yung mga agents eh at ikaw pa ang may kasalanan sa mga bagay na hindi mo na dapat pinoproblema.

4. Hiraman ng headsets... ergo, hiraman din at hawaan ng mga infectious diseases. Sharing things that has contact with body fluids are highly susceptible to be reservoirs of infection. Imagine yung saliva ng katabi mo is mastuck sa mike ng headset which will be used by another person after your shift. Kung may TB ka or my URTI malamang nahawa mo na lahat ng taong umupo sa station mo. Kung may skin infection ka naman sa ear portion eh malamang nahawa mo na din yung susunod na gagamit ng station mo kasi 99% ng lahat ng mga stations sa MJ Plaza eh walang foamies.

5. Wala man lang remote access and roaming profile ang mga computers dito so everytime you will go to a station eh kailangan mong ipull up lahat ng mga tools na kailangan ng paulit ulit ulit. It consumes approx 5 to 7 minutes of your time and you have to do it all the time you have to go to work.

6. HOTSEATING! Its very annoying for agents to log off and pull up and to go to another station kasi hotseating every 7 am onwards. Imbis na nasusulit mo yung lunch hour mo eh kailangan kang bumalik agad in danger na makuha yung upuan mo ng panibagong taong gagamit. Sa laki ng kinikita ng company can't they fix the scheduling of their agents so they don't have to fight tooth and nail para lang sa upuan nila kasi maagawan sila ng seat? And to transfer to another location would take a couple of minutes more and to find a seat na hindi sira at hindi occupied at times of hotseating is like looking for a needle in a barn full of haystack.

7. Every payday na lang eh libo libo ang dispute na makikita mo sa payslip. Then it will come to a point na ikaw eh mapapagod na to file a dispute kasi often times it will not be credited anymore. Mapapagod ka na ding magreklamo so you will just let it off and pray to GOD that you wouldnt get a deduction in your pay the next cut off. In the part of the agent, parang lumalabas pa na magmamakaawa ka pa sa isang bagay na pinaghirapan mo and na talaga namang para sayo but then dahil hindi naaasikaso ng ibang departments eh mababawas sa sweldo mo. Kapag late ka mabilis pa sa alas kwatro kung magbawas samantalang pag dispute eh mabagal pa sa pagong na may rayuma na maibalik ang pera mo sayo.

8. Yung soap sa pantry eh sobrang diluted hindi mo na mapabula if you need to wash your hands. Kahit isang tabo ata ang ilagay mo sa kamay mo eh hindi pa rin bubula yung so-called hand soap sa CR eh. Dati concentrated pa pero lately eh clear water na lang ata ang nilalagay nila sa soap dispenser.

9. Queueing, queueing, and queueing... The best part of it is kapag queueing, dun din yung best time para masira ang tools mo. May it be the internet, your troubleshooting tool o avaya pinakamadalas silang nasisira kapag kailangang kailangan mong gamitin ang mga ito. Ang masama pa nito, even if all of your tools are paralyzed... you still have to take in calls and just pretend that you are fairies and magicians that you can solve the problem of the customer by just listening to their rants.

10. HMO. I have never been to a company with the worst HMO coverage there is. That you have to literally look for the person in the hospital to take care of your needs. Most HMOs, you just present your card in the information booth and everything will be fine. With our HMO, daig mo pa ang die hard fan ni juday sa dami ng mga papeles na dapat mong papirmahan sa kung sinu sinong pontio pilato para lang maentertain ka ng physician. And the best thing about it is ikaw ang maglalakad ng sarili mong papel all your stay sa hospital. So kung may sakit ka, comatose ka na by the time na natapos mo yung mga gabundok na papel na kailangan mong papirmahan.

11. No reward system whatsoever so the agents themselves wouldn't really care to excel on the metrics kasi wala naman silang mapapala. There are bits of efforts from the management but I think its still not enough to boost the morale of the agents. I think the main reason kung bakit for several months eh hindi na nakapagprimetime ang TWC is because the agents are too tired to excel because nothing really pushes them to excel in the first place.

12. Very bad HR management. They will kick you if they want to without you knowing it. They serve their suspensions in different days so para kang barko na lulubog lilitaw. Imbes na you can do something productive with the time you are off work, hindi mo magawa ng tuloy tuloy kasi the next day eh papasok ka na naman. I don't know if they just want you to suffer because of what you have done or they just simply would want to kill the fun dahil sa unpaid vacation mo.

12. Ang mga disciplinary actions ng HR would be months delayed from the date of your offense. So ikaw si agent akala mo eh wala na yung nagawa mo dahil nakapagpresent ka na ng written explanation mo and your supporting documents pero wag ka, one day magugulat ka na lang na you are suspended because of the deed you have done last year. Imbes na maanticipate mo yung days na masususpend ka and synchronize it with something that you really need to do, it will strike you when you least expect it. Pero ang mas exciting dun eh they will terminate you in the day na hindi mo inaasahan. Magcacalls ka muna then at the end of the day they will serve your termination papers at wala ka na palang trabaho: ang offense mo is 2 to 3 months ago pa. So you will lose your job without you having a back up plan or hindi ka man lang makakapag apply ng ibang trabaho kasi you were caught unexpectedly. Wala man lang foresight about what will happen to you and will just cut your head off if they feel like it. So malas mo kung hindi ka man lang nakapaghanda bago ka nila tanggalin.

Sa mga taga 24/7, isn't it true? Don't tell me sinungaling ako kasi I have experienced all of this here...

So would you still want to work at this kind of company? Its up to you to experience it first hand.

Hi! I'm really interested in applying. I'm having hesitations though. The requirements for Customer Research Representative (Australian account), as of today, read:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
Required language(s): English
Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.
Full-Time positions available.

However, going over the previous posts, some people have mentioned having at least 6 months of call center experience for the applicant to be considered. What's the real score? Are you accepting nonexperienced applicants?

I have an allied medical degree and have 2 years of work experience (BPO - med transcription). I am changing jobs and seriously considering the call center industry. I have heard several good things about 24/7 and I'm really interested in working here. I just need a few clarifications.

Customer Research Representative (Australian Account)


Responsibilities:

Responsible for conducting outbound phone-based surveys that capture customer feedback on the experience of dealing with Consumer Customer Service (CCS).
Responsible for calling customers 24-72 hours after the customer has made contact with CCS to conduct a 5-12 fixed-question survey
Responsible in effectively probing the customer to gain insight with regard to their experiences and opinions.
Contact customers on a daily basis via telephone on an outbound call
Conduct a 5-12 question survey
Capture responses from customers accurately
Refine probing techniques and share new ideas and successes of capturing customer feedback with team members
Follow scripting provided to conduct surveys

Requirements:

Hi there,

At least 6 months call center experience is a general requirement for our CSR post under an Australian account. For those without call center experience, we can profile them for CSA (Customer Service Agent) under a UK account.
Since CRR is an entry level post, we're accepting fresh graduates (as long as not a graduate of nursing, PT, Med Tech, etc.).
We also highly encourage those with less than 2 years of call center experience to apply.

Fresh graduates of any business-related course
Excellent command of English
Strong customer service orientation
Applicants must have strong PC, keyboard and Internet skills, with the ability to simultaneously navigate through systems.
