Sad, I'm just average in English communication skills. :depressed:
Can English communication skills be improved in their trainings? :D

my two cents:

it's possible but not likely due to usually short training periods.

best way to improve vocabulary, comprehension and grammar is to make a habit of reading novels/books that are in english. and, of course, try speaking in english para masanay ka. try to shy away from watching and reading tagalog films/tv shows/literature while you're still honing your english speaking skills.

going back to reading books, umpisahan mo na sa "twilight" by stephenie meyer para madali lang basahin, interesting pa ang story;) or, just choose a novel that interests you. :D

talagang para-paraan sa twilight:bop: in fairness cool yung movie*okay*

he's right, shy away from watching local tv shows kasi lalo kang di mag-i-improve sa English communication skills mo....try mo sa channel 9, c/s, every night magaganda shows nila...*okay* i may also add you read broadsheets so that you can increase your vocabulary and practice reading it aloud...much better if you watch English movies para na rin sa comprehension skills mo:)

you'd have to convince the employers why you'd be a better hire than others who have completed their schooling or at least have finished 2 years of college.

hahaha! you only hate reading books because you've probably never picked up a good novel. trust me, twilight is an easy read. but if you want a super exciting, action packed novel, try reading "ice station" by matthew reilly-- maliliit ang font nito and the cover seems boring, but trust me, if they made this into a movie, you'd be at the edge of your seat the whole time -- it's a page turner. pero mag start ka pa rin sa twilight para di ka naman mabigla hehehe. or, tama nga si posh, kahit broadsheets or english entertainment magazines or even comics. basta anything in english would do; whatever interests you.

read readers digest...dami mo na matutunan, simple english at the same time enjoy ka pa...

err, excelasia's a headhunter just like john clements. you'll only find out which company you'll be working for once you've passed their exams and interviews, i think hehe.

ExcelAsia is NOT a call center.. HR Solutions company sya.. parang headhunter.. pwede ka lang nila i-refer sa mga partner companies nila, depending on your qualifications.. pero dadaan ka pa rin sa recruitment process ng kung ano mang company yung pag-re-referan nila sa **..

anyway, eto yung mga links ng forum dito ng ExcelAsia.. kaso walang mga posts..
