I have a Filipino-british pal who wanna work as call center agent here. His mother tongue is British but he has only finished 1 year in college (or high school grad?).
Do call centers here consider applicants of his profile?

Well as long as he has working permit here and other necessary/required documents, then why not?

For the CC company where I have worked before, technically, only those candidates who had completed at least 2 years of tertiary education are qualified.
But I know that some other CC companies doesn't have that certain qualification though. It is possible for your friend to work in a CC company, just so he passed all of the recruitment processes.:)

as long as he has a working permit, of course he can.
regarding his education and his accent, it all depends on the requirements of the CC that he wants to apply for.

Sb1: As long as he has the either a Philippine residency or citizenship and is good with the Philippine rates. There are some companies who sponsor for the work permit/work visa but normally companies sponsor if the foreigner has some special skill they need or if the foreigner is in management. The foriegner may also offer to pay for the work permit application if the company is hesitant about sponsoring.
The company my husband currently works for recently hired 2 white guys who only have highschool degrees because of their accent. But they are married to Filipinas and have a Philippine residency.
nayobeee: Companies are the ones who apply for the foreign employee's the Work permit/Work Visa. Immigration doesn't really give that to foreign individuals unless they are opening a business here. Now if the foreigner is married to a Filipino/Filipina, he/she should apply for a permanent residency if he/she is considering to work here. Permanent Residency Application takes around 6 mts. It costs around P10K for filing. Now if you pay an additional rush fee of P45K, you'll get it in 3 weeks.
