job cuts at Microsoft -- 5,000
at Intel -- 6,000(2,000 is in the Philippines)
* TARP money will include additional provisions for strict non-use of funds for customer relations outsourcing by financials, banks & others.
... there will be more bad news in the coming days so it is quite clear that foreign clients of call centers will have a hard time NOT to recall or end business relationships in the Philippines & India.. i know some of you will say that some call centers are still recruiting but do you know the provisions in the new contract with foreign clients are, like the terms & length of services needed?
what are your thoughts on this?
