GULF AiR thread (OMAN Air, Emirates, Qatar, Saudia, etc.)

Hi,

I'm new in the Airline industry, in case that I'll pass the medical this coming March. I'm just waiting for the schedule.

Oh by the way, I applied for a PSA (Passenger Seat Agent) post for Oman Air. I already passed the interview (me and my cousin who worked for Cebu Pacific as PSA)

Questions lang:

1. How is it working for OMAN Air (or how is it working in an Airlines industry)? Okay ba?
2. How is it working as a PSA/FA? Okay ba?
3. MOst of all, how's the pay? Hehe. Ang sabi sa kin, OMAN Air is one of the best when it comes to pay kasi
mataas daw magpasahod. How true?

Share your experiences naman. Never been into the Airlines industry. Kinda excited but at the same time, worried din.

P.S. I will be based in Oman soon, Oman is relatively near to Dubai. So there. New friends are welcome hehe

when are u going to oman? the starting pay is $1,700 =) u can pm me nalang =)

sorry mah bad wasn't able to read the whole thing, i thought u were applying for cabin crew position, well based on what they told us the starting for cabin crews are $1,700 and from what i've heard other positions that work for oman air are really paid good. =) the exchange rate for 1 omani rial to usd is $2.50 so not bAd huh? =)
