I noticed that 10-20 cabs pile outside our condominium and at the nearby gasoline station in our area around 9pm-10pm. Most of them prefer to wait for customers from the condo/hotels rather that taking the risk of scouting for passengers by continually driving until they get one. This is a common practice now since the prices of gasoline and lpg skyrocketed last year. I'm not sure if this will work but I feel that text-a-cab system might be effective specially for call center agents who woul need a cab after office hours. The client will text the CAB COMPANY and if someone's available in the vicinity would be the one to pick the passenger up. Of course to prevent bogus texters, a cellphone number should be registered together with the owner's name to add up to the credibility of the passenger. What do you think? comments please?

Social Networking as they call it is not new for us. Even a Grade 1 elementary student knows how to use Friendster, Myspace and Facebook. Not only that, even folks at their 60's-70s have friendster accounts. It has been a necessity for some just like me who needs friendster classifieds in my biz. Mike Zuckerberg was 19 when he started creating FACEBOOK in his Harvard dormitory and at the age 23, his net worth is now 1.5 BILLION USD of which he was included in the FORBES WORLD'S BILLIONAIRES! There are many social networking sites now specially in our country. Here's the challenge, how would these social networking sites survive in the next 5 years and what innovation will you suggest for these sites to remain on top. Your comments are really much welcomed!*okay*
