Isa talaga sa mga factor yun bakit napapa resign ang mga tao. Kase kung normal na agent ka lang naman at hindi ka nagpo-pose as "threat" sa management, ang pinaka problema mo lang talaga eh ang hudas na sked na hindi mo alam kung pano pinlot ng SA, na talaga namang sisirain ang body clock mo at "will make you doubt" sa akala mong kabisadong kabisado mo nang tiktak ng relo. Hindi ka talaga makaka-develop ng familiarization sa shift mo. Bukod pa shempre dito ang cut off date na hindi naman talaga ang date na nagrereflect sa mga pay out sign off sheets na pinapipirmahan sa atin.

Pero, props din sa post ni Agent Palaka. Trulili yun. Ang take ko lang eh kung na exhaust mo na lahat ng means para i-solve ang problema, pero wala pa ding nangyayare, the best na yung mag resign na wala nang bahid ng kabitter-an sa katawan diba. baket ako nagpo post dito?!? eh kase since wala na nga ako sa Stellar eh lagi ako dito sa Pex para makabalita naman kahit paano. I am now with JP Morgan-Chase. gusto ko lang magbalita ng maganda kase despite of all the wrongs na nagawa ko sa Stellar eh ginantihan pa din ako ng kabutihan ng Finance. I resigned March 30th natapos ko yung clearance Friday bago mag holy week. The Finance got my clearance Holy Tuesday. I talked to some people na ayoko na bangitin kung sino hehehe i told them that i needed the cash because my dad will be having another chemo session. walang ka abog abog ....after 5 days nakuha ko na yung back pay ko. For all we know 1 month dapat processing ng back pay. Everytime i talk to them on the phone they were sooooooo accommodating! GRABE! I was dining sa lobby ng MEdical city kase that time naman na confine brother ko tapos naalala ko yung mga tiga Finance may nakit ako tissue tapos sinulatan ko...basta may sinabi ako i was thanking them kase that was the 5th day di ko pa nakukuha back pay ko nun. Dinaan ko sa Stellar yung tissue na yun ....pagtawag ko sa Reception nakausap ko sila.....sabi sa akin pumanin na daw ako andun na check ko so kulang na lang tumbling ako sa saya nun pwamis i didnt know na on the 5th day nakahanda na check ko. I told them na bukas ko na lang cash yung check kase walla ako dala ID's eh kase malay ko nga di ba na may check na ako agad. Walang sabi sabi tinawagan nila yung BPI sa baba kinausap *** nila sandali malapit na mag sarado bank nun pagbaba ko sa BPI na cash agad check ko kahit wala ako ID!!!!!!!!!! sino ang hindi matutuwa nun di ba? Sobrang bait nila. And then i realized madaming tao sa Stellar ang mababait katulad ng tm ko! madaming magagandang bagay na nangayari sa akin sa Stellar madami ako naging kaibigan anjan si Rhea na bes ko kahit sampung beses kami ata nag away. Si shane na nagtatampo pa din sa akin. si pat (FRIEND KO...."DATI" ) sila john sila jean..tapos yung mga minsan kung naka gimik sila bisoy tapos madami pa na sa mukha ko lang matandaan di ko ma remember yung name pero naka inuman ko na din wahahahaha. buong team tony nami miss ko na. our team has been thru a lot pero bumabangon lagi kase sinu suportahan kami lagi ni tm tony. TAAS KAMAY KO SAYO TM. I also got an offer from capital iq and telus . sa telus ang baba ng offer sa capital iq naman next month pa training so hindi ko kinuha. JP morgan offered me a better pay. I was already getting 25K from stellar....tinaasan pa ng JP morgan o di ba good karma talaga. hay! rock and roll na lang wag na away away!

i started with stellar back during Allied Building days and man that was way too long ago uhm i worked with stellar for 16 months..work ED meaning i am NOT with stellar anymore. I resigned March 30th 2009. I had my own issues at work. madami hindi ko mabilang. pasaway kung pasaway. nanjan yung natutulog ako sa call. nanjan yung magla log out ako pag tinatamad ako, overbreaks, habitutal tardiness tapos minsan ang verbatim ko linya linya talaga kung anu lang yung nakuha ko yung lang ta type ko kse tinatamad ako magpa repeat. in short lumaki talaga ulo ko. bakit at paano ako nakatagal ng 16 months....kase napaka bait ng tm ko si TONY BARADI. he guided me and corrected all my wrong doings. coaching dito coaching dun tapos babait ako ng 3 araw lang tapos babalik sa katamadan! to the point na parang gusto na ako bitawan ni tm pero ginagabayan nya pa din ako lagi. ANO ANG NANGYARI SA AKIN? mahabang istorya. sabihin na natin na napikon na ako sa trabaho natin na halos araw arae na ginawa ng diyos ay puro scam at fraud ang calls natin. parang bumigay na ako. parang kahit gusto ko tumino hindi na kaya ng powers ko sabi ko BAHALA NA SI BATMAN! i hung up on a fraudulent call at nag type pa ako sa caller ng ganito ( YOU MUST BE HAVING A BAD DAY KNOWING THAT NOBODY WANTS TO TALK TO YOU. THIS IS SCAM!) sabay hang up! eh pano ko daw nalaman na scam eh susmaryosep sa tinagal tagal ko sa stellar di ko pa malalaman kung scam yun. nagpatawag sa auto shop sa catering sa parts...eh hanep pinakyaw lahat di ba. so ayun nga ganun....i was able to talk to sir jay....we had a loooooong emotional talk....

just sharing.. hindi kayo nag iisa Stellar.. maraming "outsourced scamming" the bpo's naun at nabibilang na dito ang kumpanya ko ngayon.. Ironic tlaga, i don't want to disclose the company's name pero sister company sila ng Stellar.. it's also under the mother company Paxys..

huh, Paxys seems to have a knack at getting these kind of clients.. hehe.. :rotflmao:

so i'm kinda sharing the same sentiments with you guys here cos I know the feeling of working in connivance of sort of scamming people.. but the thing is your pay is more hefty and you don't face extinction..

why extinction?? well, the client's software is getting smarter every month (smarter than the agents actually :rotflmao: ..) and it's slowly replacing the agents role etc etc and we all know where it goes.. the need for an agent becomes obsolete! Ta da!

kaya eto ako job hunting ulet.. sayang, i really want to grow with this company but from what i'm foreseeing the company's nearing it's end unless they acquire another account..

so would you guys mind to answer some tiny bit of Q's: :bashful:

1. does the company accepts undergrads? or nursing grads?
2. do they promote internally?
and 3. can someone gimme tips about the whole hiring process like exams, interviews and stuff..

masyadong controversial ang R4TS program. ang dami mong maririnig na usap usapan sa kanila. well...ang pinaka disturbing para sa akin bilang agent ng stellar e ang process ng pagpili sa mga taong ito. marami akong naririnig na hindi ko na lang masabi dito kasi nakakawalang respeto talaga...first hand information pa ito. sa mga nakapaskel na requirements nila sa pader ng stellar, ang hinahanap nila e mga perpektong ahente...of course!!! sila yung mga future TM's! kailangan perfect accuracy/tech at conversion...ok, pasok yan. pero bakit pagdating sa attendance, adherence, pakapalan ng IR??? dyan na nag-uumpisa ang maraming tanong. may mga candidates na maraming problema dyan pero "naiigapang" at pumapasa??? naumpisahan na yan sa batch 1...naisip naming mga kapwa ahente na nakakaalam nyan na siguro sya lang at hihinto na sa mga susunod. pero tong nababalitaan ko na talamak na gapangan sa isang team...kinabog ang Mafia! talagang hindi na pinansin ang requirements, isa lang ang stand out na requirement para maging candidate ka for R4TS sa team na ito...dapat BET ka ng TM at OM mo at kahit gaano pa kakapal ang IR mo at namumula ang schedule adherence at attendance mo kayang kaya nilang burahin yan lahat para maging perfect na perfect ka sa description na hinahanap nila...mare-reach mo talaga ang mga STARS! hindi ka pa man promoted may pedestal ka na...hmmm...may kilala akong ganyan!!! tignan mo ang "bekpek" nya may pedestal!!! first: since i have been with stellar for the longest time...(relay operator 7****F) i admire your loyalty by the way...i am but loyal to the job i learned to love...(i have an affection to the deaf community...having a deaf friend and a deaf aunt myself)...to the JOB, take note of that...and for you who claims to be an agent, it is so sad that you are "playing deaf and mute" to what is obviously happening...when you should be "hearing and speaking"...(tsk tsk tsk)...
Second: about challenging "us" to resign...speaking for myself alone, this is my bread and butter but that doesn't mean i have to love the company who is paying me more than any cc could...i believe i am doing the best i can to contribute to "TSF level passing"...and all that stuff...sad again...

we all know that stellar is a very young company and along with it is its imperfections. sobrang dami ng plms natin sa stellar and we are very vocal about it not just in this thread. but have we ever cared about the plms of stellar or even asked about them qq don't you think you should have done this first since stellar gives you 23k a month anyway.
personally i think it's better if we pocket these "angsts" that we have and work together to better the company's performance. i will not get rich with the salary that i get from stellar but i know it feeds my family. i know it's the money i use to buy what i need to buy. and i think that makes it enough to be thankful to the company that hired me.
thank you stellar and to the people in the management ranks, i think it's high time that you show these people what you are really capable of (not firing them of course). work hard...cause all OB's aside, that's what agents do...work hard.

i've seen negative and positive. personally i think they just even out on each other. while i agree there exists politics in the company's system, we all know na lahat naman nd kumpanya meron niyan.

CSR? We call it Communications Assistants. Good comm skills and at least 50 or 60WPM ang typing speed mo. You'll be dealing with deaf and mute people too. / Willing to work on shifting scheds because HELL YEAH SHIFTING KUNG SHIFTING TALAGA, schedules can be insane. / 23K Basic. /

I left the company and I don't have any regrets, but damn I MISS THE PEOPLE. Most people are great, nice working culture/environment, but like every call center, hindi din maiiwasan ang mga problema at mga taong nagdadala ng problema (Read the entire thread, you'll see.)

If your conscience can take the fact that you'll be an accessory to the crime, then go ahead. (Once you get the job, you'll see what I mean.)

Ayoko na! Magri-resign na talaga ako! Panay na lang offline sa IP Relay. Nasasayang 2 to 3 hours ko dito ng walang ginagawa kungdi makipagkuwentuhan ng mga walang kwentang bagay sa mga kapwa ko naka-offline. At kung feel kong maagang umuwi, andaling pumayag ng mga TLs na i-VTO ako. Nami-miss ko na rin yung sunud-sunod na tawag ng mga nigerian fraudsters. Hindi na rin ako happy sa kinikita ko, anlaki-laki ng tax! Kaya nagti-take home na lang ako ng hindi bababa sa 12k per perday! Gaya nitong nakaraan payday dahil walang holiday nong nakaraan. Ayoko na!!!

Hahanap na ako ng ibang company at account kung saan pwede akong magsalita ng walang humpay kahit may sore throat ako at i-assist yung mga sandamakmak na irate callers. At least natutulungan ko silang maibsan ang mga poot nila sa buhay. Yun kasi ang tipo ko na account, yung VERY CHALLENGING, yung sinisigawan ako at kung anu-anong nakakasukang salita ang natatanggap ko mula sa mga customers. Kahit liliit yung kikitain ko okey lang.

Well, naka-resign na ko sa Stellar since May 10, 2009 and yes meron naman talaga mga problema sa mga tao dito, especially some people from management. Ah basta, champion and team namin. We may not be one of the top teams (we were never a part of it), but then again, ang saya namin. Hindi naman kasi masyado conscious sa stats ang TM namin, for as long as masaya kaming magkakasama, okay na un :lol:. Hoy, para sa TM naming Amazona na Gladiator pa, nauna lang ako sa'yo mag resign ng ilang araw ah.. nainggit ka ba?! HAHA! :D

At sa lahat ng mga angst sa company na ito, GA lang, ilabaas nyo lahat ng hinanakit nyo. Kailangan lang naman talaga natin mag release ng tension. However, do it in a civilized manner. Kung gagawin nyo na maayos nyong sabihin ang mga galit nyo sa Stellar, nakapag-release ka na ng hinanakit nyo sa buhay at hindi masyado iinit ang ulo ng ibang mga nagbabasa ng thread. Hence, walang WWIII.

Hindi naman ako masyadong tumagal sa Stellar, unlike some who are still there despite being on the pioneer batch or those who have already resigned and moved on for more moolah. 10 months lang ako jan e... Yes, tae ang mga letseng fraud na yan (masabugan sana site nila) at ang mga walang kwenta at uber boring sa prank calls, but there are so many who are still with the company, longer than the time I've spent with the company, who are still there. Tiis lang muna, pag okay na at wala na talagang magawa, e di mag resign na.

I'm not saying na mag-resign na kayo, it's just that weighing your options first then decide what to choose and when to take action. FYI, nag-resign po ako for much greener pasture, I am going for med school (haha, delayed ang classes until June 15, yehey!).

For those who were promoted from R4TS, congratulations! Wag masyado lalaki ang ulo. If you're already handling a team of your own and you still do not know exactly what to do, magtanong sa mga veteran na TM. Yes, take their advice, BUT, it is still up to you kung ano ang gagawin mo. If you are just going to follow what the veteran TM had instructed you, then why not just let him/her handle the team? Madugo ang process na pinagdaanan nyo, so dapat lang maganda ang problem-solving and decision-making skills nyo. Please make use of it. It is up to you on how the agent perceives what the company is doing and how every is issue handled. Take note, it is not the words that you use but how you deliver it.

Ang sakin, I did not work there because of the moolah or kung ano man ang reason ng ibang tao jan. Ako ay nagtiis, nag-pasensya, nagloko at kung anu-ano pa dahil sa mga tao na nakasama ko sa buhay ko sa Stellar. If the people from the higher positions are not listening to what the agents have to say, then you--the agents are the one who would have to help one another. Tulungan lang kayo. Kung may problema ang isa at ayaw tulungan ng management, then hear each other out, perhaps you can find a solution withou having to ask for other people outside of your circle.

Bukod sa mga dancers nila, me 2 pang kasamang PR daw. Tpos yung part 2 ng sayaw nila, take note, HAWAIIAN/LUAU ang theme ng event, pero ang song ng sinayaw nila, BEN! e di ba tungkol sa daga un????? Tpos tawa pa sila ng tawa, hindi ngiti ha, TAWA. As if it would help.

Thirdly, tinanong sila kung sasayaw pa sila, kasi obviously disappointed na yung mga naghire at yung mga nanonood. So they were asked to show a third dance first IF they want to redeem themselves. They gladly obliged dahil alam naman nila yung klase ng performance na ginawa nila. Kung anong klaseng performance ang tinutukoy ko, sandali, iuupload ko ang video nila para makita nyo.

Tapos, lumapit yung "head coordinator" sa mga committee, andun yung boss namin nagpipigil. He was explicitly apologizing for their BAD performance. AMINADO yung coordinator na ang sama ng performance nila. He was even covering his mouth throughout the conversation, apologizing. To make matters worst, since sobrang hiyang hiya sila sa performance nila, they wanted to go home na. Ahead of the scheduled time for the buses to leave. Bigyan na *** daw sila ng pamasahe for them to go home at hindi na *** sila sasakay ng bus. EXCUSE ME! Ang sama na nga ng performance hihingi pa ng pamasahe! Baket hindi na *** sumabay sa mga bus na uuwi. They were given the schedule.

Yes, we do have standards. Paying customer kami. That's why we deserve to get what we paid for. We were still willing to pay them even though we felt that they do not deserve it. At the end, they didn't want to get paid because of their performance. Binigay pa din committee yung 2k for their bus fares, or whatever.

This is the real story. We planned to send a letter to FEU regarding this but we opted not to as they have already apologized.

things are clear now. u had ur point. pero isn't fair na check nyo muna/judge nyo muna *** mga future talent invites nyo bago *** sumabak sa paginvite ng mga talent sa event nyo? oo nga paying customer nga *** pero ang mali nyo u have trusted these guys na magperform without checking 1st how they perform. so nakakahiya di ba na lumabas *** ganitong issue. at the end napahiya pa stellar dahil sa kamalian ng staff

hehehe... personally thankful ako kay Lord sa Stellar, because of this Job I am able to work and study at the same time.. I can afford to have my own apartment, pay my bills and tuition fee also save a little.. and this is my last semester as a working student, gagraduate na rin ako sa october weeeeeeeeeeee! :D

Tingin ko wala naman perfect na company, and maybe madami ngang pagkakamali sa systema ng company but all in all i still love my Job. As previously stated, i think i am overpaid and uderworked (hehehe if there is such a word LOL) siguro kaya di rin pumasok sa utak ko na mag TM kasi feel ko baliktad naman, overworked and underpaid hehehe... What i love most about IP Relay is that I GET TO READ A BOOK!!! =) Never ko masasabi sa sarili ko na nabobobo ako sa trabaho ko kasi i get to read at least 2 hours every shift (sometimes more pag swerte sa offline) heheh =)

uhmm masaya din ako na mababait at makukulit ang mga tao sa IP Relay, from OM's, to TM's, to QA's to fellow agents.. hehehe
different personalities different people but all nice (although i haven't met everyone) but generally the culture is great. Ang stressful lang yung papasok sa opis =D lagi akong buzzer beater if you know what i mean LOL :D

As previously stated, i think i am overpaid and uderworked (hehehe if there is such a word LOL) siguro kaya di rin pumasok sa utak ko na mag TM kasi feel ko baliktad naman, overworked and underpaid hehehe... What i love most about IP Relay is that I GET TO READ A BOOK!!! =) Never ko masasabi sa sarili ko na nabobobo ako sa trabaho ko kasi i get to read at least 2 hours every shift (sometimes more pag swerte sa offline) heheh =)

uhmm masaya din ako na mababait at makukulit ang mga tao sa IP Relay, from OM's, to TM's, to QA's to fellow agents.. hehehe
different personalities different people but all nice (although i haven't met everyone) but generally the culture is great. Ang stressful lang yung papasok sa opis =D lagi akong buzzer beater if you know what i mean LOL :D

hehehe.. just like big, i started playing basketball again and after 2 rounds of fast breaks labas na dila ko... langya parang ako hihimatayin sa court... pawis ko parang tubig na tumutulo.. haha
but after that ang sarap ng pakiramdam... tulog ko derecho and yung paghinga ko smooth.. it really pays to excersise on a daily basis.. (although in my case it's just on a weekly basis) hehe..

Why is the U.S. government paying relay operators to make fraudulent and obscene calls for people who aren't deaf?

Good question. Relay is an operator-assisted phone service for the deaf, hard of hearing and speech impaired. Operators relay calls between deaf and hearing persons, typing what is said to the deaf person and reading what is typed to the hearing person.

Traditional Relay connects a TTY or text telephone to a regular telephone. Now, however, Relay is available on the Internet. A computer or text messaging mobile device takes the place of the TTY machine. With Internet Relay, anyone can make a Relay call as if they were deaf. In fact, most are not. That's the problem.

Nigerian fraud calls

Since it began in 2002, Internet Relay has been overwhelmed with calls from overseas criminal gangs using the service to scam U.S. businesses and individuals. Relay operators estimate that at least half — and more likely 75% or more — of all Internet Relay calls are either fraudulent or obscene.

Obscene calls

No, criminals aren't the only ones abusing Relay. Some hearing kids think it's fun to make relay operators say dirty words. Operators are supposed to read whatever is typed to them, whoever is on the phone. When kids abuse the system, this means reading typed descriptions of sex acts to minor children. Relay operators who refuse, risk being fired.

Who's paying for this?

We all are. There is no cost to the caller or recipient. Relay is paid for out of a charge on your phone bill for the Telecommunications Relay Service Fund. In the six month period ending May 2005, the TRS Fund paid out over $51 million to Internet Relay providers. Between $25 and $40 million of that was spent on fraud and obscenity.

This is outrageous! What can I do?

Tell the FCC and Congress to require proof of need in order to use Internet Relay similar to what states require before issuing handicapped license plates. Legitimate relay users would submit a letter from a health care professional saying they need the service. After verification, they would then be issued a username and password to log on to the Internet Relay websites.

I'm very much interested to apply in Stellar as an IP Relay Operator
but I would like to ask Stellar's hiring process.

I would really appreciate if someone from Stellar would tell me the information like:

What would be the first part of the process? Would it be, initial interview?

exams? (what type of exams?)

final interview? (any tips would help)

job offer?

Does Stellar require medical examinations first prior to hiring an employee?

^^ sabi ng TL ko confirmed na tuloy na raw yung isang DA na acct. More than 200 agents daw ang kelangan. Bigger than the current DA.

And a couple more accounts are set to join Stellar Phils. before the end of the year!

Marami ng TLs ang lumilipat sa DA account, haggard naman ata kasi work ng TLs sa IP...

I came from EPmax IP, and there is something with Stellar's IP that's kind of stressful. The job is easy, pero I can't pinpoint why it is stressing me and my other former co-IP people..

There are 2 new accounts in Stellar that have day shifts - Directory Assistance and Outbound Collections. I'm not sure if both are Australian accounts but DA sure is. Basic pay is around 17k for agents.
