Most of the companies would not have anything to do with it because its personal... BUT I believe Ana can file a legal suit agaisnt Lisa because the amount is above 2,000.

It depends sa provisions stated sa employee handbook nila. Kung wala, mahirap...

Indeed, Ana was only trying to be helpful but was nonetheless screwed. However, this still poses as a personal problem. Ana could try and file it formally with HR, but I wouldn't expect too much if I were her. I guess it's a lesson learned hard.

I have a friend at JP Morgan Chase & Co who experienced the same problem. Lucky for her, their HR helped out to reach a resolution. That is, after speaking with the colleague who borrowed the money, HR arranged an agreement with her that Finance would deduct the total amount in two payouts and would be collected by my friend after a month's time. Neat, isn't it? :)

madaming scammers sa call centers. that's one thing everyone should know about. why would a person lend money to someone he/she BARELY knows -- especially a large amount of moolah? call it HELP but that's still STUPID.

*** talga sla pakelam!
She's maputi, medyo malaki ang built (bilbil) she has visayan accent pero good ang tone niya when she's on the phone! Her name starts with letter T----. parang alias niya ata yun...
