Fisting. Nobody will want to come late in an office where a late incurred will cause your ******* to expand a few inches in diameter.

it's really simple (happened to the company i work for now which in my case, i think is very unprofessional that's why i'll leave :D): termination due to one absent

It all depends on the rate / frequency of tardiness. Araw-araw ba? Isa dalawang oras ba?

Details why are you asking this question?

anyway going back to topic, ano iyong ibig sabihin na tatatak sa isipan lolz... pare if I were you kwento mo muna baket mo gustong maglagay ng parusa sa late. baka kasi magback fire sa iyo eh. lolz.

in my former company i have some officemates na lagi late (inspite and despite the warnings and memos), ginawa ng boss ko inalis mga tables, things and computers nila at inilipat yung iba sa tabi ng guard, yung iba naman sa may parking area. shempre nakakahiya sa buong office at ibang tenants sa building di ba... ayun, nagtanda. maaga na pumapasok

That's correct. We we're advised by our company lawyer to refrain from implementing fines. Bawal daw sa law.

It's not enough to give memo, habitual tardiness should lead to termination kung sobra na.

Some offices implement it this way...

1st offense - verbal warning
2nd offense - written warning
3rd offense - x days suspension
4th offense - xx days suspension
5th offense - xxx days suspension
6th offense - termination

Consult a lawyer before implementing anything...
