Wondering if anyone has checked out Crossfit (http://www.crossfit.com/) workouts?

Their workouts look like this:

3 rounds for time of:
50 Squats
7 Muscle-ups
135 pound Hang power cleans, 10 reps

That's a pretty tough workout. Three days of randomized workouts with one day of rest. Workouts are either timed, max reps, or max weight.

It seems to be popular with cops/SWAT/firemen/athletes that need all-around strength, stamina and agility.

Pure crossfit... not a good idea

MEBB or starting strength+ crossfit... good

i acutally use Fight Gone Bad on the fighters come fight prep time

Yeah they recommend building strength with a Starting Strength type program and learning the olympic lifts first before going into CF.

Crossfit sucks unless you're a wannabe fitness junkie.
