i was hired in this new company as a senior developer. during my first day, i was informed that i will be assigned to relieve a co-worker who's going to have her maternity leave. she's going to be on leave for 70+ days. i didn't panic upon knowing that. since i am a new employee, wala naman akong choice. well, my boss have given me a project that i will develop and i am excited with it. meron akong konting worry na baka masira ang evaluation ko since that assigned job to me isn't my specialty and di ko pa gamay ang mga existing systems dito sa company. i have a limited access too and there's no way i could make some test run. medyo in demand pa naman ang ire relieve ko. i don't know if i should react. i don't know rin kung kanino ako dapat mag react. guys, do you think this is okay?

Well, you can look at it as an opportunity to really show your potential.

Madali lang yan. Tell them your needs for this project like resources and other equipments. ganun lang ka-simple yun. At oo, this is one way to show them what you can do.

para hindi OT. ako ang title ko is for Desktop Computer Technicians pero I'm implementing, managing and troubleshooting critical servers and handling a lot of data. Tapos sahod ko at title ganun pa din. In a way ok sya kasi madami ako natututunan pero kelangan mo din syempre ma-compensate nang tama eh diba?
