My wife is 8 weeks pregnant. A week ago, she had bleeding and was confined for 3 days. She felt no pain whatsoever other than the presence of blood.
She was givem Primolute? Tama po ba? And Duphaston.
She's on bed rest na.
This morning she had a brownish spotting on her undies.
I've read on it and her bestfriend who's an OB says she has to rest and spotting sometimes do happen.
Need any help or ideas about this. She's on her early 30's
Thanks!

Spotting is very common na nowadays...must be women's diet and lifestyle... pero very common na talaga sya ngayon...
A lot of women is put on bed rest na din nowadays...again, must be our diet and lifestyle...
Anyway, the most your wife needs is more support from you, the proper diet and meds, enough rest and to follow the OB's instructions :) Just work with your OB, whom you should trust...
I was put on bedrest at just past 3 weeks of pregnancy... and I continued spotting for 2 months pa despite being on bed rest...
Should you be concerned? Of course...
Should you needlessly panic? Nope... not at all.
Of course, in extreme cases, miscarriages can occur... in some naman, a really difficult pregnancy... which is why you should work with your OB closely

Hi,
I was put to bed rest for 4 months but my baby was safely delivered. HE is now 1 yr 9 months old and he is healthy and a fast learner. =)
But please do follow doctor's instructions. I was also given Duphaston. Also, when your OB tells you to avoid walking or stairs, follow them. It may seem trivial but you may put your baby in danger by not following simple instructions like those. My OB is Dra. Menefrida Reyes from St. Lukes. She is very good and kind.
Regards,
Grace
