my eldest (22 yo) is fluent both english at tagalog same as my 12 yo and little bit of written and spoken french.
my 9 yo is fluent in all 3 languages,both written and spoken french.
I highly recommend to all parents, given the chance , na i train ang anak nila na magkaroon ng 2nd or 3rd or even 4th language ang anak nila and wag kalimutan ang tagalog.
my kids are all born in canada and they speak tagalog like they just got off the plane.and i am one very proud mama!

Kid's gift for languages is amazing. The peak age for learning is from age 4-7. Once they're past 12 years old, wala na.
