apply for a local call center like sa globe, smart, sun or *** call center ng mga food chains like jollibeee mcdo etc.

Build your confidence up para hindi ka ma-conscious during interviews. Everyone starts from scratch. Hindi naman mahirap para sa ating mga Pilipino ang magsalita ng English dahil most mediums of instruction in schools are done in English.Kahit saan namang company, may interview process. If the interviewer asks you a question in English, answer in English.

You'd be surprised. After a few weeks, kinakausap mo sila kahit pa nakapikit ang mata mo.

in all fairness sa dalawang CC agents "daw" hugh super offtopic and irrelevant na yung posts nila, ;)

ON TOPIC:

i'm a sophie college undergrad and i don't have any experience in any job interviews. would it be hard for me to get the cc job? what could you advise sa akin to be more confident and convincing during the job interview? i want my first interview to be a success:)

and i just wanna asksomething... mmm before you stepped in the company that you're applying did you prepare well for it? i mean did you make some sample/own answers and memorize it at home so that you could have had something to say when the interviewer asked you some certain questions

what are the most common/difficult job interview questions have you encountered?

please help me i badly need your feedback. i want to have a cc job asap:)

:) kasi ang alam ko when your in an interview di mo alam kung ano ang itatanong ***..biglaan un...you'll be having an impromptous speech... kaya pag tanong *** you have to answer it immediately and it should be no 'dead air'...be direct..sa sgot mo...dun nga ako bumabagsak...kaya when you go to an interview you should be ready..and keep your memory sharp..pero ito yung unang pinakatinatanong sa interview... simply 'tell something about yourself' tapos dun n siya kukuha ng itatanong based on your answer..ayun po... it's just a tip.. ako di pa ako nakakapasa pero mag ta try pa rin ako..

:lol:sana makapasa din ako diba?

just be yourself. make sure to make eye contact and smile. appear to be interested with the interview and show energy and enthusiasm.

and i just wanna asksomething... mmm before you stepped in the company that you're applying did you prepare well for it? i mean did you make some sample/own answers and memorize it at home so that you could have had something to say when the interviewer asked you some certain questions

meron ding preparation. usually kasi, may group interview, wherein you will have to introduce yourself. it would be best to know how you will present yourself. ano yung mga bagay tungkol sa'yo na gusto mong malaman ng interviewer. make sure that these things will leave a good impression. like for you, since your an undergrad, it would be nice if you could prepare something when you are asked kung bakit hindi ka naka-graduate.

minsan, tinatanong din nila kung alam mo yung job description ng position na inaapplyan mo. it would be best to ask some of your friends who are working in the cc industry about their jobs, so that you will get an idea.

what are the most common/difficult job interview questions have you encountered?

"what are your strengths and weaknesses?
-sobrang common nito. just be honest when you are enumerating your strengths. ganun din sa weakness, pero make sure na mga minor weaknesses lang ang sasabihin mo, para hindi naman ma-turn off yung interviewer sa'yo.

"why should we hire you?"
-eto din, common at medyo mahirap sagutin, lalo na kung first time mo. again, be honest. show that you really want to work for the company.

hope i was able to help! :D

@ wakaranai

Check the ALPHA thread.

Ang pinakamabigat: :D

Where do you see yourself 5-10 years from now. If you are dead serious about the cc industry, kelangan aligned un career path mo dun. You can also answer this by asking the interviewer kung ano ang mga next steps from the position you are currently applying for. Showing an interest sa mga trainings na pino-provide nila will help a lot kasi it shows na you are in it for the long haul.

Pero numero uno kasi dyan is if you are interested. Before you apply, look for the areas nang industry where your interests lie. Is it being able to use your comm skills? Selling? Gaining technical know-how?Capitalize ka dun. Once you have your 'niche', so to speak, mas madali mo mabebenta sarili mo kasi now, you are choosing to be part of the industry rather than being anxious to get in.

This is how you remedy those 'vibes' na nararamdaman nang mga interviewers and which generally causes them to turn you away (pagka nararamdaman nila na you are desperate for the job, etc...)

please post here some of the interviewers' questions during your cc job application! i just want to become more prepared when the intvwr asks me some questions :)

*what's your favorite color and why?
*what's your motivation?
*why choose that course and not any course? (coz i'm a nursing grad)
*where do you see yourself 5 year from now?
*if we'll hire you what can you contribute to this company?
*what is customer service?
*what did you do last weekends? (be careful with the tenses here)
*what can you do with the traffic here in the Philippines?

ayun lang natatandaan ko.. i hope, nakatulong ako..
and one thing.. sometimes it's better to use google in searching for the interview questions and answer... cheers *okay*

renzo_upd
Sep 16, 2009, 12:48 PM
Some of the more dodgy and tricky questions:

* Tell me why we should NOT hire you.
* How did you hear about the company? And what does this company do?
* How do you explain (insert color) to a blind person?
* How do you convince me to buy this piece of paper? (Pwede rin, Sell an aircon to someone who lives in Iceland.)
* Name some of your weaknesses. (Don't be intimidated by this, just turn some of your weaknesses to strengths by adding "I'm doing my best to improve that.")

The rule of thumb in interviews is to be yourself and most especially, BE HONEST. If you make up stories, it will show. Most interviewers are trained with non-verbal communication. They can read your expressions, gestures, and body language and tell if you're bluffing.

Just be spontaneous, kasi baka iniisip mo ang mga isasagot mo dapat tama, the truth is walang tama or mali na sagot, they are checking out how you deliver your self and the way you answer the questions.

much better bago ka mag apply sa mga callcenter eh POLISH your english grammar..importante ksi na confident tau pag dating sa pag aapply sa callcenter.. Try to read some materials like newspaper cartoons..TV series or mag review ng english books mas makakatulong yun para ma-polish un grammar sa english... tRY to search thru websites like sample interviews this would help alot para may idea ka sa itatanung... bago ka sumabak sa pag aapply lalo na sa mga callcenter mas Ok kung mag review at mag basa at mag search this would help alot...

madali mag apply sa non voice pero dont expect malaki sweldo ksi maliit talaga offer pag nonvoice...compare sa calls malaki sweldo..
mga nonvoice na puwede applyan.. Sitel, IBM DAKSH. SYKES. EMERSON. Paragon Intl. SHELL Shared services ( side of mkt med.hosp.) JP Morgan...
